Tecno Pop 5 is one of the most affordable smartphones with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of permanent storage (there is also a 1/16 GB version, but not for sale here). It runs on the lightweight Android Go operating system, which allows you to run less than four applications in parallel, and often Lite versions with limited functionality.
Third generation networks
The brain of Tecno Pop 5 is the Unisoc SC7731E single-chip system with four Cortex-A7 cores and a Mali-820 MP1 graphics accelerator, but without support for 4G networks. The disadvantage of 3G is not so much in the lower download speed and high ping, but in the inability to make calls and use the Internet at the same time.
All the colours of the rainbow
The display and battery of the Tecno Pop 5 are quite decent: 6.1" IPS 720p and 4000 mAh, respectively. There are no complaints about the front camera — 5 MP, and even with a flash for selfies in the dark. But to see similar 5 megapixels on the back cover of a smartphone is a bit strange. It would be better if instead of the second auxiliary camera, a single 8 MP module was installed.
