A wonderful charger that has become indispensable for my travels. It is compact yet very powerful, capable of quickly charging even large gadgets like laptops or tablets. GaN technology provides a smaller size without sacrificing efficiency, making it convenient to carry around. You can charge multiple devices simultaneously thanks to several USB ports, including USB type-c. I remain satisfied with the purchase, as it is a reliable and fast charger for everyday use. I have been using the charger for about two years since the first outages. The task was to charge 2-3 devices as quickly as possible—a power bank and two phones—while using just one outlet (anyone who has visited resilience points understands what I mean). I got it in a bundle with a BASEUS Adaman power bank (also 65W), and the synergy between them is simply fantastic. In addition to phones and the power bank, I also use my GaN5 Pro 65W to charge my HP laptop using the included Type-C to Type-C cable + adapter for HP laptops. !!!IMPORTANT!!! The laptop charges exclusively via the Type-C to Type-C cable. Even a USB cable claiming 100W is still unable to charge the laptop; charging is exclusively through the Type-C to Type-C cable, preferably with at least 65W (the included one will do). I can't say much about the GaN5 Pro 65W. I personally have had no complaints over these two years. The charger simply does its job, delivering all its 65W. I also can't say anything negative about the heating—yes, it heats up, but it hasn't affected the device's performance (plus you can warm your hands in winter). Fast charging. Weight feels solid. Charges my laptop. There are no drawbacks (or in my usage scenarios they are impossible to detect) |

It heats up if it is simply plugged into an outlet without connected devices, so you will have to remove it every time. During charging, it heats up quite noticeably. |

Small accessory with indication
New for 2023 from BASEUS is a mid-priced GaN charger. The model is available in black and white, has moderate dimensions of 107x36x32 mm for a device with three connectors and is equipped with an LED operation indicator. A USB C cable is included in the package.
For laptops and more
BASEUS GaN5 Pro 65W is suitable for charging modern laptops thanks to two Type C ports, each of which provides an output power of 65 W when used individually. The third port is a classic USB that supports various fast charging standards, including QC4+, AFC, BC1.2, PE and others, which can provide up to 60 W of power for single use. For example, it is stated that the charger can charge the iPhone 12 Pro by 50% in just 25 minutes.
Good power for 3 ports
When using the first USB C port together with any other port, the total power is 63W (45+18), which is suitable for charging an Ultrabook and a smartphone. When using all three ports simultaneously, the total power drops to 60W, but the first USB C port still provides up to 45W. Such characteristics at maximum load look impressive, especially considering the affordability of the device.
BASEUS GaN5 Pro 65W is a balanced three-port solution with high power per port and moderate power reduction when using all ports simultaneously.
