The working element of such a machine is a rotary disk mounted on a tabletop and having two thrust cylinders — in the centre (along the axis) and at the edge. The reinforcement bar is inserted between the stops and fixed in a special fixture, the machine is turned on, and by turning the disk, the stops press on the bar, bending it. The bending angle can usually be adjusted in steps of a few degrees — great precision is usually not required when working with rebar.
