Classical
— the name of this variety is due to the fact that it is closest in design to traditional Spanish guitars. The main features of the classics are the standard shape of the body (deviations from it are encountered, but extremely rarely), a fairly wide neck, and the use of nylon strings (metal strings are too tight and can deform the instrument). The sound of classical guitars is soft and relatively quiet, which makes them well suited for playing notes or picking, but for playing with a strike, such models are less suitable than acoustics. However, in the initial training (including for playing chords), it is recommended to use the classics — it is easier to get used to soft nylon strings.
