Umbrellas with fibreglass spokes

Fibreglass

— knitting needles made of fibreglass — a material based on thin glass fibers. This material is notable primarily for its excellent flexibility and resilience: many umbrellas with fibreglass knitting needles are able to endure inside-out without consequences. Because of this, this material is popular in anti-storm models (see "Additional").

Note that sometimes fibreglass can mean simpler fibreglass (see "Carbon and fibreglass"). Here you can navigate by the price category of the umbrella: pure fibreglass is quite expensive and is almost never found in low-cost models.
