I bought to replace a STRIX GTX1050TI 4G in a five-year-old computer with z390 and 8700k. Since everything is assembled in a retro case manufactured in 2001, which does not know what normal ventilation is, I had to turn the air direction 180 degrees and put a 120 fan on the front panel so that the flow of cold air was directly under the video card. In games (The Witcher 3, Starfield, Cyberpunk) at QHD resolution on medium - maximum settings with DLSS without rays, it produces a comfortable 45-65 FPS. If you don't touch the voltage, it keeps overclocking up to 2100/16000, which is of no practical importance because it adds only 2-3 FPS to the interval of 50-60 FPS. The card is assembled high-quality, compact and quite quiet, at 100% load, the temperature is kept at 65-70 degrees at about 70% fan speed. Unlike some direct competitors, there is an aluminium backplate, and the radiator is soldered to the heat pipes. The memory chips are kosher Samsung, although this is not important for this model. Asus, excellent memory, excellent cooling, and excellent reviews about this video card. I got it about 2 years ago. But somehow I was influenced by the 12 GB. But overall, it's an okay card. For its price, it handles things wonderfully. Tanks, Dota, CS, GTA, Witcher, everything runs great. It also has enough power to display all this beautifully on 2 monitors and stream simultaneously. So I'm satisfied. I collected everything myself and everything started running. - |
Bought at enko, the card is small and looks nice. Installed in a case with medium airflow, on standard settings the card heated up to a maximum of 73 degrees in Metro Exodus. Did undervolting (card's power did not drop): 1890 MHz and 0.868v, now a maximum of 65 degrees, in lighter games like CS2 up to 60. The factory voltage is too high (went up to 1.070), probably so it would work less...and faster to the new RTX in the store). Personally, I don't hear the card, other sounds (from PSU, fans) drown it out, even if it makes noise, even when its fans were running at 80%. I also don't notice any coil whine. The memory is from Samsung.
