Games for the people
The Dell Inspiron 7567 is the cheapest series of gaming laptops on the market (from $900). The junior configuration includes an Intel Core i5-7300HQ processor and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 graphics card. The main savings are in the display — it is 15-inch with FullHD resolution, but is made using TN technology, which is why it is dull and with small viewing angles.

Laptop processor 7300HQ, unlike dual-core four-thread counterparts with the U index, has four physical cores, like the desktop Core i5. Its base frequency is 2.5 GHz, the maximum Turbo Boost frequency for a single core is 3.5 GHz, but most of the time it runs at 3 GHz (auto overclocking for all cores). The mobile version of the GTX 1050 graphics card is similar to the desktop one with the same 640 Pascal microkernels, but has increased video memory from 2 to 4 GB. In general, the 7300HQ + GTX 1050 bundle even in the newest and most demanding games gives out 60 FPS at 1080p resolution on medium or, at worst, low graphics settings.
Two discs in one
The disk subsystem of the Inspiron 7567 is represented by one hybrid drive, consisting of a 1 TB HDD and an 8 GB SSD that acts as a cache. It's certainly not the same as a big, fast SSD, but it's noticeably faster than a regular hard drive. In addition to the poor colour reproduction of the screen, you can blame the Dell Inspiron 7567 for the reduced cursor arrows on the keyboard (these buttons are often used in games). And to praise — for the 2.1-channel audio system: a pair of speakers plus a subwoofer. Dell Inspiron 7567 is the main candidate for the role of the first gaming laptop in your life, a kind of "probe". If you like it, buy something more serious over time. If not, that's okay, since the Inspiron 7567 isn't much more expensive than multimedia models.

Ноутбук был нужен такой, чтоб не только странички в браузере полистать, но и видео можно было бы поставить кодироваться и поиграть иногда во что-то свеженькое была возможность. Обычно ноутбуки для игр не предназначены, но если искать мощную и игровую модель, то оказывается есть неплохой выбор. Я взял Делл, потому что давно знаком с их мониторами и в дремучем 2002 году у меня был КПК этого производителя. Собственно мониторы Р- и U-серий от Делл и сейчас очень любимы пользователями. У меня U2412 до сих пор на столе стоит и я подключаю к нему ноут, когда нужно выполнять работу, требующую высокой детализации. Если сравнивать этот ноутбук с моим последним ПК, то это просто ракета. Все же SSD штука очень полезная, загрузка системы вместе с приложениями, в том числе антивирусом занимает всего 16 секунд. Для сравнения – подобная система на ПК с обычным винчестером грузилась больше минуты. Ну и мощный четырехядерный процессор тоже конечно свою роль играет. Тут он штатно работает на 2,8ГГц, а при возможности отдельны ядра саморазгоняются до 3,8 ГГц. Оперативной памяти 8 Гб, что по сегодняшним меркам нормально, но есть еще один свободный слот, в который можно будет добавить еще планку на 16 Гб и получить суммарно 24 Гб. Сейчас это пока не нужно, но через-год-полтора наверняка понадобится. Видеокарта, обычная, не ноутбучная 1050Ti, просто огонь. Тянет даже разный свежак, а игры 3-4 летней давности бегают без проблем. Тяжеленький и довольно крупный, но поскольку я с ним в руках особо путешествовать не собираюсь, то это получается и не проблема вовсе. Батарея под нагрузкой тоже так себе. Впрочем, прокормить такую конфигурацию в нагруженном виде от мобильной батареи дело заведомо глупое. Аккумулятор тут скорее для серфинга и прочей относительно легкой работы. |
