A fancy "off-road" smartphone with serious ambitions. The device is dressed in a brutal "uniform" with the claimed degree of water protection IP68, additionally protecting the "body" of the gadget from exposure to high temperatures and hot water jets under pressure (IP69K). The “face” of the smartphone is a “mono-browed” screen of 5.9-inch dimensions diagonally with an image resolution of FullHD + (2280x1080 pixels).
The front panel of the Doogee S68 Pro is “under cover” of tempered glass Gorilla Glass 4. From under the brows, the smartphone “looks” at the user with the “eye” of a 16 MP selfie camera, which is also the leading link in the face unlock system of the mobile device. An additional authentication method is provided by the fingerprint scanner pad on the rear panel. A triple photomodule 21 + 8 + 8 MP is adjacent to the fingerprint sensor from the rear. The high performance of the smartphone is ensured by an advanced hardware base: an eight-core MediaTek Helio P70 chipset in combination with 6/128 GB of memory. In pursuit, the device was armed with an NFC, as well as a powerful 6300 mAh battery with support for fast and wireless “tank refilling” technologies. Charging "by air" is performed in both directions.
The “battleship” Doogee S68 Pro is an optimally “charged” smartphone for its price. Its "innards" served as a haven for a balanced electronic hardware, and for an increased capacity battery, and for many other tidbits. But first things first.
Protective shell
Brutal features dominate in the appearance of the mobile device. Balanced hardware
The basis of the "underhood" equipment of the mobile gadget was the performant "octa-core" MediaTek Helio P70. In the AnTuTu performance test, the “hardware” of the device knocks out about 150K “points”. Triple main camera
The screen view of the Doogee S68 Pro slightly spoils the unibrow cutout for the 16 MP selfie camera lens. In the “over the air” charging mode, in some instances of the device, the sensitivity of the sensor is sometimes disturbed.
