One of the few "regular" models from the Chinese company Doogee, known as the famous manufacturer of indestructible smartphones. A notable feature in the appearance of the mobile device is the leather-look backdrop, the entire width of which in the upper segment is covered with a decorative black plate. A small piece of this panel is reserved for the needs of the main 20 + 8 + 2 + 2 MP quad camera.
The 16MP selfie camera is located in the Doogee N40 Pro's waterdrop notch. The IPS-matrix of the smartphone has a diagonal size of 6.52" and displays a picture in the maximum HD+ resolution (1600x720 pixels). Responsible for the productivity of the mobile device is a bundle of eight-core MediaTek Helio P60 processor, ARM Mali-G72 graphics and 6/128 GB of expandable memory. Games such hardware pulls on medium-low graphics display settings. The strength of the device is the battery life on a single charge of a 6380 mAh battery (23 hours of video playback and 42 hours of reading). Such a powerful battery was packaged in a case less than 1 cm thick, plus the battery was taught to charge at an accelerated pace using a 24W power adapter.

I will add to my previous review. Overall, I'm satisfied even after a year of use. It works the same way, the battery holds up well. There have been drops, but they haven't affected its performance. The only thing that happened: the fingerprint stopped working and even disappeared from the system settings. So now accessing some apps like Privat24 and confirming payments has become less convenient. I spent a long time choosing a budget replacement for my dying Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 and settled on this one. Why I chose it: price up to 6000K (able to find), 128 GB of memory, and a fairly capacious battery. Overall, after a week of use, I got used to it and am almost satisfied. The reasons I chose this smartphone are satisfactory and it works quickly. What disappointed me: the camera is awful, macro works somehow, but landscapes are a terrible grainy mess under any lighting and settings. Also, the fingerprint scanner button works occasionally. There is no proper file manager among the apps and no gallery at all, which was a real disappointment. It's resolved with third-party apps, but the annoyance remains. The package includes a good silicone case, high-quality type C charger, and cable. It is claimed that a protective film is applied to the screen at the factory, but in practice, it’s just a regular transport film, albeit without inscriptions, which allows it to last until a proper protective glass is found.
