Garmin Rino 120 received a very stylish and ergonomic design. It fits comfortably in the palm of your hand. Embossed rubber inserts on the sides allow you to firmly hold this device even in a wet hand. The control buttons for the GPS receiver and the radio station are located on the sides and below the screen. Rino is equipped with a convenient joystick to facilitate cursor movement on the screen and menu items, select radio station channels, set the volume level. As a result, the device is very simple and convenient to operate with one hand, without blocking its screen. The GPS receiver of this device is similar to the Garmin eTrex Legend.
Rino 120 GPS navigators have a built-in 10-mile road map (Basemap) of the North American continent ("Americas Hidhway") only. The rest of the planet's territory that is not covered by Basemaps (including Russia) is represented by a base of world cities, a point base of marine objects and a world map, on which, from graphic information, there are only coastlines of continents and the borders of each country. The GPS navigator has 8 MB of memory for loading additional cartographic material in the MapSource standard. When loading additional maps into the GPS receiver, the built-in cartographic information is not lost, and there is also a voice scrambler and vibrating alert.
