The refrigerator presented in the spring of 2021 can be attributed to the middle class Side-by-side models of the manufacturer Gorenje. The device is equipped with an inverter compressor, the presence of which has a positive effect on overall reliability and ensuring stable temperatures inside.

Also, due to the inverter, energy consumption is reduced: for a year of operation, the Gorenje NRS 918 EMX “winds” less than 321 kWh on the metre, which corresponds to an A ++ rating. But the noise level is quite typical for Side-by-side — up to 42 dB.

Stylish and comfortable

The refrigerator is offered in two colour variations, in addition to the silver model, there is a black version of Gorenje NRS 918 EMB on the market. Hidden door handles are provided here, which will easily fit into the minimalist design of the kitchen.

Complementing the stylish look of the model is the SensoTech touch display. Here, in addition to separate temperature control (there are 2 cooling circuits), various operating modes are set, including vacation. It will reduce energy consumption in the long absence of households.

Gorenje NRS 918 EMX also does not need to be defrosted manually (Full No Frost), and as a bonus there is child protection (controls lock) and door closing indication.

Place for different products

The total useful volume of the model is 508 liters, of which 334 liters are reserved for the refrigerator located on the right. This is usually enough for families of 4 – 5 people and even more. In the refrigerator compartment there was a place for a hanging bottle holder, 6 open glass drawers, two drawers (respectively for vegetables and fruits) and three door baskets.

One of the main features of the 174-liter freezer is the TwistIce ice generator. And the interior space itself is divided into 7 sections, including a pair of drawers at the bottom. The total freezing capacity reaches 11 kg per day, but the time of autonomous cold storage is small — up to 8 kg, which should be attributed to disadvantages. But if you don’t have long power outages, then the Gorenje NRS 918 EMX is a very interesting refrigerator with a reliable compressor and economical operation.
