It’s a little weak for games, how will a dialer or Internet connection work?
8 September 2021
The smartphone is suitable for those who need Internet access, but the processor is too weak for games
Screen dimensions, IPS, Full HD resolution, metal body, 3.5mm headphone jack
No fast charging, only 5 watts, weak processor, battery runs out quickly, not frameless

My work smartphone for every day! I'll leave it for now!)

Today it is already outdated, but for the last 4 years this has been my favorite smartphone! :) I hope that Huawei will update it to Harmony OS! This will give a second life to this not bad smartphone!
Form factor, convenient, not large in size, light, beautiful screen! Rings perfect! There is nfc! The body is metal! Screen projection, great sound in headphones! The new battery holds up well so far!
I think Google programmatically crushed him! After the sanctions, I began to work with strain, without Google services, not a single delay in work! Micro USB charging!

Successful mid-level smart with an excellent screen
14 February 2018
This is a modern mid-range smartphone with features that were available only in flagship models a couple of years ago. The three things I like the most about it are the display, cameras, and high performance. The 5.65-inch screen with a resolution of 2160x1080 has excellent brightness, making it easy to see under sunlight, and good color reproduction. The large display area is comfortable for watching videos and reading. There is a special "warm" mode for reading, by the way. The camera is dual, with the main module at 13 MP providing stunning outdoor photos and decent indoor shots, and the second camera being mainly for the "bokeh" effect, which blurs the background in portrait shots. The effect, by the way, is cool – I recommend it. The system's speed with the proprietary shell is just excellent, apps start quickly and run smoothly without the slightest lag. 3 GB of RAM is quite sufficient; I haven't even come close to its limit. I did, however, expand the permanent memory with a 32 GB card that I had from my previous smartphone. GPS works well, and there is also NFC with support for contactless payments. No complaints about the battery; it lasts one day even under the most extreme usage, and two days are easily achievable if you don't keep the GPS on all the time or run heavy background tasks. It holds the network well, the speaker and microphone work at 9 out of 10, and the ringtone at maximum volume could wake the dead.
Before that, I had a smart phone with a four-inch screen, and there I still managed to reach the edges of the screen with the fingers of one hand. This is unrealistic here, the dimensions are too large, you have to either move the body in your hand (so that the grip is higher) or use a second hand, which is sometimes simply impossible. A second SIM card can only be installed in place of a memory card; the tray for this purpose is a hybrid one.

Smartphone for every day

P Smart Dual Sim is an inexpensive and relatively simple device from Huawei with a utilitarian appearance that offers nothing fancy. Thin bezels — yes. Widescreen aspect ratio — yes. The metal case is. Demanding more from a $200 smartphone would be overkill.

Bright Full HD+ display

The smartphone received an excellent 5.65-inch IPS screen with Full HD + (2160x1080) resolution. The matrix is covered with a protective glass with an oleophobic coating. Colour reproduction is at the usual high level for IPS screens, the colour gamut is well calibrated and can be adjusted to suit you, making the colours more juicy or, on the contrary, cold. The stock of brightness with a margin is enough even when used outdoors on a sunny day.

Good power reserve

The P Smart Dual Sim is based on the mid-range Kirin 659 octa-core chip, which is similar to Snapdragon 625. Only Kirin 659 has slightly better performance, while Snapdragon has a slightly more powerful video processor. Complementing the picture 3 GB of RAM. If we transfer these figures to real life, then Huawei P Smart Dual Sim shows decent performance, which is enough for comfortable work with the browser, demanding applications and modern games like Fortnite and Injustice.

Quality dual camera

Huawei P Smart received a dual main camera running the same “smart” software as the older Huawei models. The camera's software algorithm helps fine-tune white balance, exposure and colour reproduction, and uses depth of field information from the second camera module to achieve high-quality blur effects when shooting portraits and objects. In the daytime, in good light, the camera snaps great shots, but the less light becomes, the more the quality of the photos drops. However, this problem concerns almost all devices of this price category, a real camera phone for $200 is still a dream.

Lithium polymer battery

The smartphone uses a non-removable lithium-polymer (Li-Pol) battery with a capacity of 3000 mAh. Fast charging is not supported. From a single charge in a relatively active mode of use, P Smart works a little more than a day, when watching HD video, the battery lasts about 7 hours, and when loaded with demanding toys, it will last for 3.5 hours. In general, these are completely standard indicators.

NFC support

As expected, the smartphone supports two SIM-cards. One of the slots is hybrid and can be occupied by a memory card. In general, the communication set is familiar for this class, and the presence of an NFC chip for contactless payments with Android Pay or applications from the banks themselves can be added to the unequivocal pluses.
