At maximum brightness it makes noise (but not much), at medium and low brightness it practically does not make noise at all. When watching movies, you do not notice this, only in silence.
I can advise you to paint the wall white, then you can adjust the image in 60-200 inches. In the evening at 200 inches it's a very cool feeling. Movies are fun to watch. I recommend
