This is a truly unique phone. The design of the Nokia 7500 Prism is truly unique. In general, it fully corresponds to the name (Prism), the surface of the phone is formed by numerous triangles, rhombuses, faces.

Of course, if this were the only feature of the phone, only fans of unusual styles would buy it. But in fact, Nokia 7500 Prism is quite a powerful tool with a music player, camera and similar `bonuses`.

Technical features:

• The body of the phone is made of glossy plastic in a single `geometric` concept. Everywhere - triangles, rhombuses and edges. If on the front panel they are embossed, then on the back they are simply marked. What is characteristic - even the keys are made triangular. In addition, the protective glass of the display has a noticeable `cut`. However, it does not interfere with the use of the phone.
• The Prism display resolution is QVGA, i.e. 320x240 pixels. Fortunately, the `graininess` inherent in the displays of some models is almost imperceptible. The colours on the screen are quite bright and realistic, which is not surprising - the display can display more than 16 million shades of colours. However, like most phones, there are problems when working in direct sunlight. Colours will of course fade. But they remain readable.
• Although the phone does not support 3G standards, there is a `full set` of supported GSM frequencies - 850/900/1800/1900.
• Built-in memory - 30 megabytes (of those available to the user). It is not enough. But not very few. In principle, you don't have to worry about memory - the manufacturer has prudently installed a slot for working with microSD cards, one of which is 512 MB supplied in the kit. Unfortunately, the slot is located under the battery, so `hot-swap` cards is not possible.
• Of course, Prism can work in media player and radio modes. The player plays not only music, but also video files in H.265, MPEG4 and WMV formats.
• The Nokia 7500 Prism has excellent possibilities for fast data transfer - the manufacturer has provided for the use of all technologies that can be used within the 2-2.5G standards. Both conventional GPRS and EDGE are supported, both are class 10. Those who do not have EDGE support in their area can work with HSCSD.
• `Local` communications include Bluetooth version 2 and a miniUSB port, which, as you know, is often the main means of synchronizing the phone with a PC or laptop. Especially when the computer does not have a Bluetooth adapter.

Camera:

• You can hardly surprise anyone with a good camera in a phone, so Nokia did not even try. The sensitivity of the sensor is 2 megapixels, the same can be found in a good hundred other phones if desired. The quality of filming is not bad, but average.
• There are six image resolutions set by users - 1600x1200; 1280x960; 800x600; 640x480; 320x240 and 160x120. You can choose the degree of file compression, `white balance` mode or apply `incredible` effects like sepia and negative. Amateur spies can turn on night mode or turn off the shutter sound.
• On the right side of the case there is a camera shutter key, the volume buttons in the `camera` mode are used to control the digital zoom. Although no one really needs it, you can set up to 8x if you wish.
