Palit GeForce RTX 4070 JetStream (NED4070019K9-1047J)

High-performance pre-top gaming graphics card from Palit, based on the progressive NVIDIA Ada Lovelace graphics microarchitecture, introduced at the end of 2022. It belongs to the 2023 Palit JetStream family of products, which are aimed at demanding gamers, e-sportsmen and enthusiasts who can get the most out of their hardware through competent overclocking and component optimization.

Suitable for upgrading existing gaming PCs with NVIDIA and Radeon video accelerators of the last generation. Like all members of the JetStream family, it is equipped with a massive and powerful system with a new thermal module designed for Ada Lovelace chips, three Gale Hunter coolers, a pack of heat pipes and a wide copper base. Cooling system has a sufficient margin of safety for moderate overclocking experiments.

Under moderate load, it can switch to a quiet semi-passive mode of operation. Palit GeForce RTX 4070 JetStream is built on an AD 104 (5 nm) graphics chip, which contains 5888 stream processors, operates at a frequency of 2475 MHz, supports PCI-E v4.0 interface and DirectX 12 Ultimate. The amount of GDDR6X memory is 12 GB, a 192-bit bus is used for data exchange. Like previous generations of NVIDIA GPUs, the RTX 4070 supports hardware-accelerated RTX effects and fast anti-aliasing based on deep learning algorithms (DLSS).

However, these are new-generation cores that can work with large volumes and types of data, due to which the quality and efficiency of AI algorithms have increased. In terms of pure performance, the Palit GeForce RTX 4070 is ready to provide consistently high frame rates in any gaming projects in 2020-2023 at resolutions up to 2K at high or maximum graphics settings. For Full HD resolution, its capabilities are superfluous, but for 4K, on the contrary, the power is not enough, so in most demanding games it will require lowering the settings and using DLSS. Palit GeForce RTX 4070 natively supports PCI-E Gen4 x16 interface and is backwards compatible with its previous version. The power consumption of the accelerator is 200 W, however, given its overclocking nature, the manufacturer recommends forking out for a power supply and taking a 750 W model, and not 650 W, as recommended by other manufacturers.
