A compact, yet powerful, affordable graphics card that hit the market in 2022. The device joined the family of single-fan StormX models from Palit. One of the key features is a case length shortened to 17 cm, thanks to which the device can serve as an excellent solution for small form factor computer systems, including Mini-ITX cases. The graphics card is based on the Nvidia GA106 graphics core, made according to the 8-nm process technology on the Ampere microarchitecture.
Equipped with 2nd generation RT cores that enable real-time ray tracing to create 3D images with a whole new level of lighting/reflection fidelity. And thanks to the 3rd generation tensor cores, DLSS intelligent scaling technology is implemented, based on the use of deep learning algorithms. It has 8 GB of GDDR6 memory, the bus is 128 bits. A single 9-bladed fan with a diameter of 100 mm is responsible for blowing the radiator section with heat pipes.
It is noteworthy that the cooler automatically stops at low GPU temperatures, due to which the Palit GeForce RTX 3050 StormX graphics card is switched to a completely silent passive mode when idle (including when running multimedia applications). Designed for use in mid-range PC configurations equipped with FullHD-resolution monitors. The port panel provides three DisplayPorts and one HDMI.
Always clarify the specifications and configuration of the product with the online store manager before purchasing.

In these stupid times of general shortages, such a card is a joy if you haven’t had time to update in advance. Moreover, I managed to buy it for 26,500 rubles. Paying 30+ and especially 40+ thousand is crazy, it’s weaker than the usual 2060! 1. Compact, lightweight. 2. At a resolution of 2560x1080 at high or ultra settings, it handles everything I need at 60+ fps and more. I'll finally play Red Dead Redemption 2, Cyberpunk, and Metro in decent quality. 3. Cooling, despite the compact size. The heatsink is on three heat pipes; without overclocking, the temperatures stay within 60-65 degrees, with overclocking without undervolting and without increasing the fan speed, it can reach up to 73 max. 4. DLSS technology significantly increases FPS. I might be blind or my monitor (LG 29WP60G-B) might not be great, but I don't see a significant picture degradation from its use. 1. There are "rays" in name only, the card is weak and it’s pointless to include them; the FPS drops horribly - either on low settings with rays and maximum DLSS, or without rays with normal high settings. 2. The price in most stores is very overpriced. ![]() |
Well, what 15k UAH, recommended 250u.e. sell for at least 10k with a profit of 3k is enough for you, well, not 2 times more expensive The card itself is good Price |
I APPLAUD PALIT STANDING OVATION.
The graphics card is very quiet and cool. No matter how much I stressed it with a stress test, it never exceeded 70 degrees. At the same time, the card was extremely quiet. In hand, it feels like a solid product, not cheap or flimsy. The build quality is quite respectable. The heatsink fits snugly wherever needed through rather thin thermal pads. 3 heat pipes.
There are comparison tests on YouTube with a large, 3-fan Gigabyte card. It’s huge and very noisy. This card, with one cooler, maintains nearly the same temperature (the undervolt difference is 2 degrees, 61 vs. 63, or 70 vs. 70 at stock), while remaining quiet (1250 RPM in undervolt compared to 1850x3, or the same RPM against 2200x3+). I simply tip my hat. Palit impressed me, although I assume the cooling system migrated from the 3060 without changes, but I haven’t checked.
Regarding performance.
For Full HD, it's more than sufficient. You can even play the most demanding games with ray tracing (unlike the 2060), with settings close to as high as possible. The main thing is not to mindlessly set maximum presets. In Metro Exodus, on ultra, with ray tracing and DLSS set to quality, it's 80fps +/-."
