I think it's an excellent option for a kitchen or small room. I bought it for my children’s bedroom, it mainly works in tandem with a set-top box; there is a VGA on the back panel for output from a computer. The sound is worse than on computer speakers, so the picture is from the TV and the sound is directly from the computer. Overall I’m happy with the image, and at this price it’s one of the best non-Chinese options, so the fact that it’s not full HD is not critical, at such a diagonal both HD and full HD look the same if you don’t look closely at the screen. The frequency of 100 Hz is also noticeable in any scene, even in fast action scenes I didn’t notice any blurring or blurriness of the picture, which was a pleasant surprise in a low-cost TV of this level. Phillips apparently decided that his product would only stand on some low bedside tables; I couldn’t explain otherwise why he made a stand with an unregulated tilt of the screen upwards; I had to hang it on a bracket on the wall. The menu itself is pleasant and well thought out, channels are found quickly, the volume visualization and other icons are also visually pleasing. The remote control fits perfectly in the hand, but the location of the channel numbering and volume keys is shifted downwards, which is somewhat unusual compared to Samsung and other famous brands. - affordable price for a trusted brand; - good image quality, colors, and contrast are far from budget-like; - plays video from a flash drive; - fast and easy-to-understand menu. - not very convenient stand; - remote with an unusual button layout. use Philips 24PHT4000 week |
The TV is excellent. In previous reviews I read about setting up channels - it’s so simple. Mark all channels (or not all) as favorites and then sort them as you like. I think it's simple. Does not support DTS. I didn't pay attention when purchasing. All films with expensive DTS need to be recoded to AC3 - the flight is normal. ![]() |
