A TV of a confident middle rank, in which the broadcast content seems to go beyond the screen. A similar effect is achieved thanks to the intelligent backlighting system Ambilight - it illuminates the wall behind the TV panel in the tones that dominate the corresponding area of the screen. The model displays images in a maximum resolution of 4K (3840x2160 pixels). Moreover, the TV skillfully upscales content to Ultra HD format from lower frame resolutions.
To heighten the effect of immersion in what is happening on the screen, Philips 50PUS8118 has acquired support for Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. Stereo speakers on board the TV produce sound with a total power of up to 20 watts. The model also provides a smart system Philips Smart TV with voice assistants Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. Fans of console games will come in handy with an HDMI 2.1 connection interface with support for VRR, ALLM and eARC technologies. For wall-mounting a TV panel, you will need to get a VESA bracket in the size of 200x300 mm.
