A confident mid-range smart TV with a twist in the form of the proprietary Ambilight intelligent backlighting system. It creates the effect of the image extending beyond the 55-inch 4K screen, thereby increasing the fascination of watching broadcasts. LEDs along the three rear edges of the TV body illuminate the wall in those tones of the color palette that predominate in the corresponding areas of the display.
The model’s screen also has support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. The colorful image on the Philips 55PUS8518 display is supported by the surround sound of a 20-watt speaker system with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. The TV runs under the Google TV operating system and provides content recommendations right on the start screen. In this case, data is transferred to the desktop from all installed applications overnight. As a bonus, users get the opportunity to use the built-in Chromecast and Google Assistant voice assistant. At the back of the TV panel there are mounting holes for a VESA-compatible 200x300 mm bracket for wall mounting of the device.

The TV is worth considering, used in conjunction with a ps5 or nintendo switch Excellent image quality, fast work.
