Advanced OLED TV, equipped with a large 55-inch screen with 4K resolution — 3840x2160 pixels. The display refresh rate is 120 Hz, and when game consoles are connected via HDMI 2.1 port, the refresh rate increases to 144 Hz (with adaptive frame rate technology VRR being engaged). The screen model supports common HDR standards (including HDR10+, HLG, and Dolby Vision). IMAX Enhanced, AMD FreeSync Premium, and NVIDIA G-Sync are noted as being available.

Beyond the screen, the image is displayed thanks to the proprietary Ambilight backlighting — its LEDs are placed on the right, left, and top on the back panel of the TV body. The Philips 55OLED819 features a high-quality 4.1 audio system consisting of a quartet of 10W speakers and a 30W subwoofer. It is stated to process common audio formats, including Dolby Atmos and DTS:X 3D sound.

The feeling of a cinema at home, and Ambilight backlighting creates magic.

Overall satisfied with the TV itself and Philips support except for the purchase moment at the "Kibernetiky" store - they delivered a non-working TV through Nova Poshta and did not want to replace it. Only after a scandal and an investigation conducted with Nova Poshta did the store confirm the delivery of a non-working TV and replaced it.

1) Ambilight backlight - this is a new level of viewing experience, with no alternatives at the moment
2) The display itself and anti-glare quality
3) Android TV
4) Speed of menu/software operation
5) Remote control (metal, type-C charging, button backlight, ergonomics)
6) Thin frame, design
7) Quite loud sound and audible bass (subwoofer)

The only thing is that in the menu you can't turn off the TV operation indicator, which is somewhat bright at night (can be solved with a piece of tape :) ).
