Vacuum cut hair collection system
The Philips BT7510 compact beard trimmer belongs to the large Series 7000 family of products. This is a rather narrow specialization machine designed for the care of short hair: sideburns, mustaches, beard and body. Therefore, the main "chip" of the model was the vacuum system, which does not allow cut small hairs to fall on the floor and clothes. Simply put, the trimmer has its own small vacuum cleaner, similar in principle to “adult” cyclone-type devices. Even a transparent storage container that collects up to 95% of cut hair looks very much like a classic cyclone dust collector. Unfortunately, this container, unlike nozzles and blades, is non-removable and cannot be rinsed under water normally.
Self-sharpening blades
On the front panel of the trimmer body there is a power slide switch and a roller wheel for adjusting the length of the bristle cut. Also on the facade of the case there is a signal indicator of the battery status, and in the lower part there is a 2-pin connector for the complete charging cable. The trim length setting range is 0.5 – 10 mm, and the current setting is indicated by the digital value of the indicator. In addition to the main stainless steel knife with self-sharpening blades that do not require lubrication, the device is equipped with a body hair removal knife, a pair of comb attachments, a cleaning brush and a soft storage pouch.
Quick charge function
The machine can work as a wired or battery trimmer, and automatic voltage switching allows you to use the charger in household networks of different standards (100 – 240 V). The battery charges from 0% to 100% in just 1 hour, which is enough for 100 minutes of work away from the outlet. And the quick 5-minute charge gives the battery enough power for 1 trimming session. Of the shortcomings noted by customers, this model has a rather weak plastic for attaching knives that cannot withstand heavy loads. Therefore, the use of a clipper or the care of a thick beard is highly undesirable.
