Satisfied with the device, bought it for its speed.
    23 January 2021
I bought a 128GB USB flash drive at the beginning of 2020 for approximately 3000~ rubles. I acquired it for quick recovery operations of computers to avoid guessing whether it's the flash drive slowing things down or the old computer. It is mainly used as an emergency flash drive in FAT32 format. After the first low-level formatting, it died in the literal sense, nothing could restore it. I spent two days identifying the issue. It was like the flash drive was completely gone. I returned it with the receipt for the same item. They exchanged it without any issues, all good. The second time, such a problem did not occur, and it works well. Recently, I partitioned the flash drive into two sections: FAT32 (for emergencies) and exFAT for large files. The file transfer progress is interesting. Reading from the flash drive is very fast, at 300MB/s, it was only 15-30% utilized. I won't show CrystalDiskMark, too lazy. But writing large files happens unusually, as if the buffer gets clogged after some time, then it gets a second wind. It's confusing :D Writing to the flash drive reaches up to 300~MB. I'll provide screenshots of the above. -

The flash drive is larger than usual. In the photo, the blue flash drive is an 8GB Apacer. P.S. For some reason, screenshots won’t upload. For safety, I’ll share links to the photos.

The speed of file transfers, uploading and downloading information in a short period of time.
I can't say if this is specifically a problem with the flash drive or not, but it seems like the SanDisk memory buffer gets clogged, and it slows down when transferring large files.

For quick tasks, it's just right. I no longer hassle with long file transfers.

I do video filming and bought this flash drive for quick data transfer from my laptop to my computer or from devices to my computer. It works very fast, and that's the main advantage. I measured the speed with CrystalDisk, and it came out to 299 MB/s write speed and 347 MB/s read speed. Very fast, even though the manufacturer overstated the actual speed. The body is aluminum, but in the middle, it's either plastic or just a thick layer of glossy paint, which scratches quickly. There's a utility for file encryption, you just create a folder and move the files you want to encrypt there. The flash drive isn't small, much bigger than standard flash drives. But what's important to me is that it works quickly, and in this task, it performs at a solid 10+.
    Fast. File encryption is available.
It scratches easily. It's larger than regular flash drives (twice the size).

    Great, fast flash drive.
    7 February 2020
I must say right away that I use the 128 GB version. I tried about 10 models of competitors - EVERYTHING IS MUCH SLOWER. This flash drive reaches the declared speed at the peak. Real about 350 MB / s for reading, 300 MB / s for writing. The main advantage is that it copies heaps of small files very quickly. While its more expensive competitors dropped to 2-5 MB / s copy speed, this flash drive kept at least 50-70 MB / s. That is, if when copying large files it has competitors in terms of price and speed + -10%, then when copying small files (for example, 5000 photos of 3-5 MB each or heaps of electronic books or a music library), it has no competitors at all.
The quality of performance is excellent. Pleasantly lies in the hand. Speed. Volume.
I would like it to be the same, but even smaller and cheaper - this, unfortunately, is not possible.

The fastest flash drive from SanDisk was released at the dawn of 2017 as a replacement for the previous "speed champion" — SanDisk Extreme PRO. And so the high speed of data exchange (if we draw an analogy with the predecessor) was almost doubled. But more on that later.

    Metal outfit

First of all , the solid aluminium case of the flash drive with dimensions of 71x11x21 mm attracts attention. From one end it hides a retractable connector, and on the other side there is a large ear for attaching the drive to a bunch of keys. Also on the case there was a place for an activity indicator that glows with a soft blue light.

    Speed Champion

The speed qualities of the SanDisk Extreme PRO 3.1 are admirable: together with USB 3.0 or USB 3.1 interfaces, the flash drive is capable of overclocking up to 420 MB / s when reading and up to 380 MB / s when writing files. Only SSD drives are faster than it. Naturally, with such cool characteristics, a flash drive operates with large volumes of data in a matter of seconds and there is no one faster than it.

    high status

The American manufacturer did not stint on equipping its offspring with a pre-installed utility for encrypting personal data SanDisk Secire Access, which produces 128-bit file encryption. In addition, the company provides a one-year free subscription to the RescuePRO Deluxe file recovery application, and the flash drive itself is covered by a limited lifetime warranty. All this once again emphasizes the high status of the drive and justifies its high cost.
