I was looking for a gas boiler for my new “smart” home. The boiler had to be double-circuit and cope with the heating of an area of 130 squares. But the most important was the presence of a bus communication port [censored] for computer control of the boiler. A smart home should be smart in every detail. I already had experience in connecting Vaillant boilers, it only remained to choose a model. Adjustable burner provides a smooth change in heat output. Ultimately, this reduces gas consumption and increases the efficiency of the boiler. And the efficiency of this boiler is really excellent. The control system can regulate the temperature of both hot water and the heat carrier in the heating circuit over a wide range. There is a built-in two-speed circulation pump. Pump stage switching is automatic. To get really hot water quickly, there is a “hot” start function. It works really fast, you only need to wait 10-12 seconds. Turbocharged, i.e. no problems with traction. Works great with a computer through the NM9212 adapter adapter from MasterKit. I connected via USB to a constantly working compact computer - the brain of a “smart” home. Now, in addition to the standard programmable thermostat, I can control the operation of the boiler remotely, from a laptop or smartphone. I often go on one-two-week business trips and in winter such remote access in winter allows you to save a lot A smart home is great, but this system is powerless against power outages.
