Slip collars
Slip
— another name for such products — "noose" — very well describes their main feature: the collar can be adjusted in such a way that it tightens with sharp jerks, squeezing the animal's neck. This property is useful in training, but it is impossible to wear a collar in this way all the time (and it is generally forbidden to use it on a leash). However, in many jerky models, it may be possible to turn into a regular collar, without the possibility of tightening. Such universal products usually take the form of a cord with rings at both ends. For use as a garrote, one of the rings is put on the opposite end of the cord, so that a self-tightening loop in the form of the letter “P” is obtained, and a leash is attached to the “leg” of this letter, where the second ring is located. If tightening is not required, the rings are connected to each other and the diameter of the collar remains unchanged regardless of the jerks of the rein.Show
