Halogen bulb lamps
Halogen
— this category includes two types of lamps: models originally equipped with halogen lamps (even if they can be replaced with incandescent lamps), as well as devices with specific socles used only in "halogen lamps".The main feature of any halogen lamp is a glass bulb filled with a special gas with halogen vapors (bromine or iodine). Most of them work on the principle of incandescence (with a metal thread), but there are also gas-discharge models. The first variety is more economical than conventional incandescent lamps; in addition, such lamps can be made compact and at the same time bright. The gas discharge principle is used in lamps of high power and brightness.
