Speaker stands with acoustic spikes
Acoustic spikes
— the presence of acoustic spikes in the design of the stand. These spikes are used only in racks (see "Type"). They are characteristic protrusions — "legs" at the base — thus, the stand actually stands not on the base, but on these "legs", and the contact area with the floor is reduced to an absolute minimum. It is believed that due to this, the amount of vibration transmitted from the acoustics through the rack to the floor is reduced, and the sound quality is improved. This detail is especially appreciated by the owners of Hi-End equipment, who zealously follow the slightest nuances of sound.
