LR batteries have a relatively low capacity, they are prone to a rapid voltage drop as they are discharged, and they do not handle high load currents well. On the other hand, such cells are noticeably cheaper than silver-oxide ones, and for devices with an even low energy consumption, they are the best option.Specifically, LR69 batteries are 9.1mm in diameter and 2.1mm thick.
