Fishing feeders with ground spikes
With ground spikes
— feeders equipped with grousers — devices that provide additional reliability in holding on the bottom. The body of such a feeder is usually mesh and can have a different shape — round or rectangular (see the relevant paragraphs); and the lug is a platform with protrusions, which, when the feeder sinks to the bottom, turns out to be from below and plays the role of a base.Such models are intended mainly for fishing in strong currents in places with difficult bottom topography, where even small shifts in the feeder are fraught with falling into a blind hook and therefore highly undesirable. At the same time, the lugs allow you to achieve a reliable hold in place even with a small weight — which means that you can put more bait in such a feeder without compromising the casting distance and the strength of the rod.
