— a device in the form of a tennis racquet with a thin metal wire instead of the usual fishing line mesh. Destroys flies, mosquitoes and other flying insects without leaving stains on walls, ceilings and curtains. The principle of operation of the electric fly swatter is based on the difference in electric charges: the outer large-mesh gratings carry a negative charge, and the fine mesh in the core is positive. Touching the central grid, flies and mosquitoes become victims of the current. Such fly swatters are turned on with a button on the handle, and for hunting flying animals in the dark, many of them have a built-in flashlight. Electric fly swatters are harmless to humans, pets and the environment.
