Household supply & extraction
— household fans (that is, having relatively low performance and installed directly in the ventilation outlet) are capable of operating both in the extraction and supply modes. Like purely extraction household models, they are mainly intended for simple conditions where high performance is not required — in particular, residential premises. However, supply and extraction units of this class are often mounted not at the outlet of the ventilation duct, but directly into the window or into the wall opening, which is why such devices are also known as window fans.
