The Polish company Tako offers a budget-friendly yet winter-ready stroller, the Jumper X. This model comes in several color options and is available as a "2-in-1" version or as a complete set with a car seat for newborns.
The Tako Jumper X bassinet includes a soft mattress and dense upholstery materials. In addition to a large canopy with a viewing and ventilation window, it features a high windscreen—a flap that attaches to the canopy’s visor. A similar solution is available in the pricier Adamex Avila 2 in 1 stroller.
The reversible seat unit boasts a large canopy that can completely shield the child from the sun, wind, or rain, even when the backrest is fully reclined. While this might not look perfect aesthetically, it’s highly practical. For colder seasons, a footmuff is included.
The Tako Jumper X's wheelbase combines good cross-country ability and maneuverability. The large inflatable wheels (especially the 31 cm rear ones) ensure the former, while the 360-degree swivel front wheels enhance the latter. The swivel mechanism can be locked for smoother handling over rough terrain or snowdrifts.
A downside of the Tako Jumper X is its heavy weight. At 15 kg, it is one of the heaviest strollers on the market, making it challenging to carry up stairs without a ramp or elevator. Another drawback is the "budget" appearance of the upholstery and other components, which reflect its price point. Other minor issues include a noisy bassinet canopy and inconvenient access to the shopping basket when the seat unit is installed. However, given its affordable price, this stroller is a good budget option for winter.

The stroller from the popular Polish manufacturer Roan resembles a classic design thanks to its chassis, but it also includes a seat unit and can be used until the child is 3 years old.
The Roan Marita is available in various color options, making it easier to find a design that suits your preferences.
The stroller’s bassinet is made from windproof fabric and is spacious, measuring 82 cm in length and 37 cm in width. Even in a winter snowsuit or sleeping bag, the baby will have plenty of room. The hood and a cover with a high flap provide protection from the wind. The inner insulation is removable for washing, as is the double-layer mattress.
The Roan Marita seat unit can be installed facing towards or away from the parent. The footrest and backrest are adjustable over a wide range. The canopy is shared between the bassinet and the seat unit, but as noted by parents, it fits and looks better with the bassinet than with the seat.
The package includes a rain cover, a bag for items, and a footmuff. A metal basket serves as the shopping compartment.
The Roan Marita boasts large inflatable wheels with a diameter of 31 cm and metal rims. All wheels are fixed, ensuring excellent performance even on freshly fallen snow. Combined with joint suspension, this helps smooth out uneven surfaces and makes it easier to rock the baby. However, the fixed wheels reduce maneuverability—turning requires lifting the stroller by pressing on the handle.
One downside of the stroller is its heavy weight compared to similar models. Other minor drawbacks include the lack of a mosquito net, a noisy hood mechanism, and its large dimensions (it fits standard elevators but not all car trunks).
Overall, the Roan Marita is a relatively affordable winter stroller suitable for almost everyone, especially those living in private houses, where tackling rough terrain isn’t limited to snowy conditions.

The universal stroller from the Polish company Adamex debuted in 2015 and quickly gained popularity, becoming a sales leader. The model is a more affordable alternative to the Barletta 2 in 1, differing only in stitching and fewer included accessories.
The Adamex Avila 2 in 1 bassinet is well-suited for winter. It features dense, windproof materials. The windscreen—a flap on the cover—completely seals the bassinet window when unfolded, providing wind protection. The canopy is also insulated. However, unlike the Roan Marita, it is a dual "winter-summer" design. The upper insulated part can be removed to allow airflow through a mesh for warm weather.
The sleeping area is spacious, providing ample comfort for larger babies in winter clothing. The headrest adjustment lever is conveniently located on the outside of the bassinet, making it easier for parents to use.
The seat unit is also adapted for winter. It includes a thick footmuff and a flap for wind protection. The backrest and footrest are adjustable, allowing for a completely horizontal sleeping position. The seat is equipped with 5-point harnesses, a bumper, and a crotch strap to ensure the child’s safety during walks.
A key advantage of the Adamex Avila 2 in 1 is its large wheels with inflatable tires. They perform well on snow and uneven terrain, though they are vulnerable to sharp objects. The front wheels are slightly smaller in diameter (25 cm compared to 30 cm) and feature a swivel mechanism with a locking option, offering good maneuverability and ease of handling despite the stroller’s relatively heavy weight (over 14 kg).
The model comes well-equipped: in addition to a rain cover and mosquito net, it includes a bag for items, a cup holder, and a closed shopping compartment.
Overall, the Adamex Avila 2 in 1 is one of the best options in terms of price and quality. If the model's significant weight is not a concern, its winter-ready features and overall benefits can be a decisive factor.

The Noordi Polaris Sport is a "2-in-1" stroller from the Norwegian brand, manufactured in Lithuania. Its name hints at its readiness for harsh weather and severe frosts. The model is available in six colors and visually resembles the CAM Dinamico 2 in 1.
The Noordi Polaris Sport is well-prepared for various weather conditions. Winter warmth is ensured by dense, water-resistant fabric, an insulated hood, and a windscreen flap, although it isn’t very high. The seat unit comes with a footmuff (thick and conveniently secured on the protective bumper) and a removable mattress.
For warmer weather, both stroller units feature ventilation windows that double as viewing panels. The bassinet also includes an adjustable ventilation system and a double sun visor on the hood—a traditional fabric visor and an extended one that tucks inside the hood when not in use.
The Noordi Polaris Sport seat unit is reversible, and the adjustable backrest and footrest provide both a comfortable sitting position and a fully reclined sleeping position. The spacious bassinet includes a feature to adjust the incline of the headrest, with the mechanism conveniently located on the exterior of the stroller.
The package includes a rain cover, cup holder, mosquito net, bag for items, and a shopping compartment.
The Noordi Polaris Sport rides on large inflatable wheels: 23 cm for the front wheels and 28 cm for the rear ones. These ensure excellent cross-country performance in any weather. Maneuverability is enhanced by the swivel mechanism of the front wheels and a suspension system that also prevents abrupt stops when the front axle encounters an obstacle. These features make the stroller easy to handle, even with one hand.
In addition to a traditional bumper and 5-point safety harnesses with soft padding, the stroller has reflective elements on the fabric, making it highly visible to drivers in low-light conditions.
The Noordi Polaris Sport is a practical, stylish, and functional mid-range stroller. If desired, it can be purchased as a "3-in-1" model with a car seat.

The Italian climate differs from ours with its mildness, but the successful children’s product manufacturer CAM knows how to cater to demanding parents. The universal stroller with a car seat, Cortina X3 Evolution, is one of the most popular three-wheel models on the market.
It’s reasonably prepared for winter, performing better than another popular Italian model — Chicco Trio Activ3 3 in 1 , which doesn’t include a footmuff.
The CAM Cortina X3 Evolution immediately stands out with its attractive design featuring rhinestone appliqués or original prints. Parents can choose from five color options.
The CAM Cortina X3 Evolution bassinet is spacious, making it suitable for winter use. The interior lining is dense, warm, and made from natural fabric. A flap on the cover shields against wind, though it isn’t as high as the one on the Adamex Avila 2 in 1. The bassinet can also double as a rocker, and the Quicky System mechanism makes it easy to attach or detach it from the chassis.
The seat unit of the stroller features a large canopy. The backrest angle adjusts with the footrest, offering four positions, including fully horizontal. In summer, the sun visor can be unfolded or the ventilation window opened, while in winter, the footmuff can be used.
The base model, CAM Cortina X3 Tris, also includes a car seat. It’s designed for children weighing up to 13 kg and complies with the ECE R44/04 safety standard. A "2-in-1" version, Duetto X3, is also available.
The three inflatable wheels, each with a 30 cm diameter, provide excellent cross-country performance for the CAM Cortina X3 Evolution, even off-road. They also ensure exceptional maneuverability and a minimal turning radius compared to traditional four-wheel models. For bumpy terrains, the swivel mechanism can be locked.
Before purchasing, note that the stroller's width is 61 cm. Some older Soviet-era elevators have a 59 cm door opening, which the CAM Cortina X3 Evolution will not fit through. If this, along with the stroller’s high price, isn’t a concern, this model is highly recommended.
