Lego Technic

These extraordinary sets proudly bear the name "Technique". Actually, they are the technique. Lego Technic is distinguished by the variety and complexity of parts — cubes with various holes, pins, gears — from which complex coordinated mechanisms can be assembled. All models are equipped with a variety of movable units, some are motorized. The series has simple models with a reverse spring (for example, a desert racing buggy set 42027 or an ATV set 42034), a snowmobile (42021) and a small helicopter (42020).

There are more complicated ones: bulldozer (42028), realistic motorcycle (42036), a quarry truck (42035) or a monster truck (42005) with hollow tyres and four-wheel suspension, all-wheel drive control and shock absorption system.

And there are also complex motorized vehicles, for example, an eight-wheel four-wheel drive "Maintenance truck" (42008) with a working winch, tow truck and hydraulic lifting element. Or "Crawler" (9398), consisting of 2600 parts, with remote control and all-wheel drive. Or "MK2 mobile crane" (42009) with four-function gearbox, moving outriggers and motorized winch. This ten-wheeled machine with five axles and a V-shaped eight-cylinder engine with moving pistons is one of the most complex Lego models. Among other things, she can transform into a truck.

Lego Legends of Chima

One of the very popular and beloved Lego Chima series tells about a country in which clans of animals — Lions, Eagles, Crocodiles, Saber-Toothed Tigers, Gorillas, Ravens, Polar Bears — are fighting with each other. They all want to control the source of Chi energy. The clans are divided into fire and ice. Sometimes they unite to fight common external enemies, such as Crawlers, led by the insidious Scorpion King...

I think it's clear from this introduction that Chima offers plenty of themes for games. The designers of the series consist mainly of figures of heroes and their combat vehicles. They are distinguished by an abundance of translucent unusual details and animorphic elements. So, the flying machine of the Eagle clan is expected to be a giant eagle (70142), the Saber—toothed tigers have a saber—toothed walking apparatus Fangara (70143), and the main weapon of the Lions is a fiery lion on tracks (70144).

Lego Ninjago

These constructors are made in Oriental style, and all the elements resemble a fantastic non-existent Japan with its traditional houses unusual for a European look, but at the same time absolutely incredible technologies, machines and robots. This series, like Chima, is replete with small details, so Lego recommends Ninjago to children from 7 years old. The plots are also battles, also wars.

The largest set of the series — "Battle for the City of Ninjago", contains a gate to the city and a ninja temple with a cannon firing cannons to defend the temple from the attack of sworn enemies — nidroids (their attacking element is also included in the set). Smaller sets are mainly combat vehicles. For example, an electric robot (70754), a jungle raider (70755) or a solid armored Ninja DB X (70750).

Lego Bionicle

This series appeared back in 2001, its fighters were produced until 2010 and now in 2015 the series was revived. Bionicles are such cyber warriors, and it is they who need to be assembled in the designers of the series. They belong to different elements — fire, water, earth, ice, jungle, stone. They are somewhat similar to trasformers, but not trasformers. And just like the latter, bionicles have a whole army of fans, there is an accompanying animated series and books. Each bionicle is different, but some of them can be combined to create a more powerful hero. For example, from "Fire Defender (70783)" and "Fire Master Tahu (70787)" you can get a super-strong bionicle, there is a special instruction for this.

Lego Super Heroes

A variety of superheroes are depicted in Lego constructors. In the series "Marvel Superheroes" we will find Spiderman (sets "Spider-Man Tricycle vs Electro"and 76015 — "The theft of the truck by Doctor Octopus"), the Avengers (for example, 76038 — "Attack on the Avengers Tower", 76018 — "The Destruction of the Hulk Lab" or 76029 — "Iron Man vs Ultron") and the cheerful "Guardians of the Galaxy", which are now on a new round of popularity thanks to the recent the film (76021 — "Rescue of the spaceship Milano", 76020 — "Misia Escape to the Nouver"). It's great that the sets are made in identical "native" comic colours.

The same can be said about the sets DC Comics Super Heroes. They are made in darker and more adult tones, compared to Marvell. But that's good. First of all, these are sets with Batman in black and purple. Interesting constructor 76012 — "Ridler's Chase", containing the current Batmobile (there are several in Lego, different years of release), figures of Batman, Flash and the robber-villain Ridler himself with his strange green high-speed car. An interesting set is 76011 — "Attack of the Men-Bat with a Batman helicopter", a flying Nightwing machine and a villainous bat. The most famous villain of the series, the Joker, can be found in the set 76013 — "Joker Steamroller" for 486 parts. The villain will move on the corresponding grandiosely executed destructive transport, and Batman, in alliance with Robin and Catwoman, confront him on a Batjet combat flying ship equipped with rocket launchers.

Also, the DC Comics universe is represented by Superman (for example, set 76028 "Attack of the Dark Forces" with a flying ship), Aquaman (76027 "Underwater Strike of the Black Manta Ray") and Green Lantern (76025, "Green Lantern vs Sinestro").

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

These popular heroes are also embodied in Lego constructors. And in two subseries at once: according to the animated series, which started in 2012, and according to the 2014 film. In the subseries, first of all, the drawing of the figures of turtles is different (in the "film" sets they are less cartoon, although many did not like the new outline of their favorite characters). So, there are two sets at once, which are called "Attack on the lair of turtles". The first one is smaller and consists of 488 parts (79103) — from the cartoon, the second one is larger (79117, 888 parts). Ideologically, the sets are similar: underground rooms for surface surveillance, training and recreation, elements of the urban interior (for example, graffiti, a sewer manhole for entering a dwelling and a street lamp) on the upper tier, and many ingenious traps for uninvited guests designed by the technical genius Donatello.

There are sets with very interesting vehicles, for example, a T-rocket assembled by the same Donatello from improvised means, which is able to resist the mutated Professor O'Neill (79120, 286 parts), an aggressive turtle van equipped with heavy missiles and radar (79115, 368 parts) or a wonderful submarine in the form of a turtle (79121, 684 details).

Of course, it was not without the main villain Shredder and his dwelling (79122) from which the captured brothers need to be freed, as well as a dragon-shaped motorcycle on which the villain pursues poor Donny (79101, 198 details).
