We will only cut the VGA, a low-quality VGA cable is included.

LG 22MP55A 22 "

The type of matrix in the monitor is about as important as the type of engine in the car. The LG 22MP55A matrix is made using AH-IPS technology (one of the most advanced solutions at the time of the device's release), which provides high image clarity at Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels), the maximum number of colours and shades, fast response (important for dynamic scenes in movies and games) and excellent viewing angles.

According to user reviews, the owners of this model have no special complaints about the image. And especially if you take into account the cost of the monitor. Many chose it because of the juiciness of the picture and a large margin of brightness.

The design of the LG 22MP55A is quite familiar, the setting keys are conveniently located right under the display. The traditional ability to adjust the angles of inclination is provided. The case is not heavy — a little less than 3 kg. It is very convenient that the monitor can be hung on the wall (there is a VESA mount).

LG branded monitor functions are available. Among them, we highlight the "Reader Mode", which reduces the amount of blue light, protects the eyes and provides optimal conditions for reading. In the "Super-energy Saving" mode, the monitor saves 30% more energy compared to a conventional LED TV.

The disadvantages of the model are insignificant. The lack of height adjustment of the case, only one VGA connection (it is unlikely that you will be able to connect a thin laptop to the monitor without searching for an adapter) and a poor-quality bundled cable for the same VGA (you have to buy another one). Some owners complain about the angular LED-illumination (with a completely black picture in the corners of the lighter areas), but make a discount on the low-cost of the model.

Excellent matrix, viewing angles, the presence of HDMI and a complete cable to it, headphone output.

Lack of VESA mounting, unreliable holder leg, low sensitivity of touch keys settings.

Samsung S22D390Q 22 " black

Samsung offers a special matrix in the S22D390Q model — PLC (Plane-to-Line Switching), its own development, which the company uses in its smartphones and tablets. In fact, this is an advanced IPS technology with a marketing touch. Samsung even tried to sue LG claiming that its AH-IPS is the same PLC. But users do not care about the problems of lawyers, because the main thing is to get a monitor with a high—quality picture at an affordable price.

Samsung S22D390Q largely meets such expectations. Wide viewing angles (178/178), short response time, low power consumption and high contrast — there are practically no complaints from the owners of this monitor according to these indicators.

Network users note that an important advantage of the monitor is the presence of HDMI in addition to the usual VGA connector (the cable is included, which is nice). It allows you to connect compatible equipment to the monitor and provides faster and better signal transmission compared to VGA. The monitor also claims the attention of gamers, because it is equipped with a special Game Mode (optimization of colours and contrast levels during the game).

There were also disadvantages: many owners do not like the lack of wall mounting, the flimsiness of the monitor's legs, the slow response to pressing the touch keys of the settings and the classic LED lights on the black of inexpensive matrices.

Natural colours and contrast, DVI and HDMI connectors, built-in speakers, VESA mount.

"Crystal effect" (subjectively), no DVI and HDMI cables.

BenQ GW2265HM 22 " black

The BenQ company is not a newcomer to the world of production of office equipment. The main emphasis is placed on monitors, information panels, etc. The brand enjoys a well-known popularity among large corporations, and there are reasons for this: there are a lot of office "gadgets" in the company's monitors, starting with a special type of matrix for convenient work with documents and graphs, and ending with a wall mount or a slot for a Kensington lock.

The BenQ GW2265HM model is more expensive than its Korean competitors, but it is also better equipped. Let's start with the main thing: instead of the usual matrix based on IPS technology, the GW2265HM uses a variety of VA (Vertical Alignment). Roughly speaking, this technology is something in between faded, but fast TN matrices and too bright (to the point of pain in the eyes), but slow IPS matrices.

Users who spend a lot of time at the monitor working with documents or on the Internet, highly appreciated this type of matrix — the eyes get tired much less. In addition, this particular model has a matte coating, not glossy. At the same time, some complain that the brightness of colours and their saturation is not the same as that of IPS-counterparts.

Many owners of the BenQ GW2265HM liked the presence of built-in speakers (albeit not the loudest), as well as a built-in power supply. BenQ has made sure that you can connect almost any equipment to the monitor and equipped the model with DVI, HDMI, linear connector and headphone jack.

Users speak positively about the preset "Reading" mode, which allows you to simulate the appearance of ordinary printed paper, which makes viewing texts comfortable and does not tyre the eyes.

Among the disadvantages, the "crystal effect" is noted due to the use of a plastic matte coating of the display. However, this is a matter of taste and perception of the picture. And what many people didn't like was the lack of an HDMI cord in the kit.

The Council. The matrix is the main thing you need to pay attention to. The comfort of working behind the monitor depends on the type of matrix. It also makes sense to pay attention to the response time (the shorter it is, the better) and viewing angles (so that your friends don't have to huddle behind you).

Image quality, multiple openings, VESA mount.

Heating of the matrix (subjectively).

Asus VS229HV 22 " black

Not the most low-cost option out of our top five, but if you believe the user reviews, the model largely justifies its cost. One of the main features is the E—IPS matrix. Brightness and saturation of colours, viewing angles, matte coating (does not glare) — this is a short list of advantages that are primarily noted by users on the web.

Fans of working with documents will like the Aspect Control function, which allows you to quickly switch from widescreen mode to 4:3 mode and back. Asus Splendid technology automatically optimizes picture quality to achieve deeper colours, high contrast and a brighter image overall. Using the control buttons, the user can choose one of six display modes (Theatrical, Game, Landscape, Night, sRGB or Standard).

The connection of equipment also does not raise any questions: there are D-Sub, HDMI, DVI-D (included), HDMI and even a 3.5mm Mini-Jack for headphones. Many people positively evaluate the quiet operation of the power supply. And, of course, there is a VESA mount, as well as a cut for the Kensington lock.

The owners did not find any shortcomings in the model. Except that some pointed to the minimum LED illumination at the bottom and the heating of the matrix.

High-quality matrix, high contrast and a large set of ports.

No VESA mount.

AOC I2267FW 22 " silver

Technomaniacs respect the brand AOC. Even in inexpensive solutions, the manufacturer strives to use all its technical potential.

According to the owners, this monitor is equipped with an excellent AH-IPS matrix (matte finish) with a resolution of Full-HD (1920x1080 pixels). The contrast of the monitor is amazing — 50000000:1. Among the advantages are: bright colours, as well as colour stability in a wide range of viewing angles. The model has a high maximum brightness, reaching 250 cd/m2 and a response time of 6 ms, which is very popular with gamers and moviegoers.

In terms of the number of slots, the AOC I2267FW leaves behind all the competitors of our five. There are as many as two HDMI ports, DVI-D Dual Link (doubles the bandwidth and allows you to get screen resolutions of 1000000 and 2048x1536), headphone input and, of course, classic VGA. One of the nice little things is a mount for the Kensington lock.

However, the model also has some shortcomings, among which users note the inconvenience of the location of the adjustment keys (at the back) and the lack of VESA mounting.
