The characteristics of the models we selected for the TOP 5 can be compared in the table. This link contains the full tablet catalog.

High build quality, six colours, high-resolution IPS matrix, clear sound and good communication, OTG and NFC availability, high performance.

Mediocre quality of shooting photos and videos.

Prestigio MultiPad Color 7.0 3G 16 GB

Prestigio MultiPad Colour 7.0 3G is an inexpensive tablet with great features. It combines good build quality (parts do not creak when the case is compressed) and stylish design. Compact size and light weight allow the tablet to lie comfortably in your hand. However, it will not work to dial the number with one hand, as on a smartphone. Prestigio pleases not only with the availability of products, but also with bold solutions in its design. For example, for this model, you can choose one of six colours: black, white, red, blue, purple and blue.

Despite the fact that the gadget belongs to the low-cost category, the manufacturer has achieved harmony between design and functionality. In addition to wireless Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC and GPS modules, there is a 3G interface for cellular communication and one slot for a "mini-SIM card". The quality of communication is not inferior to that of smartphones. Some buyers believe that it is convenient to use a tablet for calls, just like phablets.

Thanks to a serious hardware — a 4-core processor, a graphics accelerator and 1 GB of RAM — the device handles with any applications from Google Play. There are already installed branded programs here: a convenient eReader Prestigio reader, a radio receiver. Included with the model, as with all others presented in the review, there is an OTG cable for connecting a USB flash drive or mouse. We will highlight the quality of the screen separately: the pixel density of 216 ppi at a resolution of 1280 by 800 pixels and wide viewing angles will allow you to enjoy watching videos and photos. But the cameras themselves, according to reviews, do not please with the quality of work (which, however, is typical for compact and inexpensive tablets).

Stylish design, high-quality 2G receiver, fast multimedia operation, loud stereo sound, long working time.

A branded glossy screen with small viewing angles, a fragile case, the absence of 3G, a low-resolution camera.

Lenovo IdeaPad A3300 2G 8GB 8 GB

The seven-inch tablet from Lenovo is distinguished not only by an interesting design and a matte case on which no fingerprints are visible. It combines the convenience of communication, work and entertainment. IPS-matrix with good viewing angles, Dolby sound system support and fast hardware allow you to get a lot of good impressions from the device.

The Mediatek MT8382 processor with an additional graphics adapter and 1 GB of RAM cope with resource-intensive applications. However, do not forget to clear the memory of temporary files, otherwise the work will become slower over time (this is the "difference" of many gadgets of this price category). On board the Android 4.2.2 tablet with its own shell from the manufacturer and various applications: Any Share, AccuWeather, Dolby, SyncIT HD, Norton Mobile Security, etc.

Lenovo IdeaPad A3300 has only a 2G module that works with mobile GPRS networks. It turns out that using the Internet will be less comfortable than on 3G models. GPS navigation, which, by the way, is presented in each model from the review, will help motorists choose a short and convenient way.

The battery life of the tablet can not but rejoice. When the multimedia is fully loaded, the device works 5-6 hours. If you reduce the brightness by 50% and reduce the sound volume, you can extend the autonomous operation for another 3-4 hours. In standby mode and periodic calls, the tablet battery "lives" for up to two days. And the cameras here are without any frills: 2 and 0.3 MP. They are enough for Skype communication, but even inexpensive smartphones will take photos better, not to mention camera phones.

Dual SIM cards, support 2G and 3G, durable aluminium cover and screen protector, high performance, good photo quality.

Small viewing angles, poor sound quality of the rear speaker, weak battery, there are problems with Wi-Fi.

Ainol Novo 7 Numy AX3 16 GB

Despite the fact that Ainol is a little—known company, we were pleased with the design and serious construction of the AX3. The tablet gives the impression of a reliable device thanks to the aluminium back cover and a protective film on the screen. The display itself, as in other models, supports multitouch for 5 taps. However, the image quality could have been better. The density of 160 pixels per inch is inferior to competitors. Despite the average screen resolution, the tablet will delight amateur photographers with high—quality images of 2592x1944 — this is the highest resolution of taking photos in our TOP 5. Besides, in addition to a good matrix, the camera also has a flash.

Wireless networks are represented by traditional Wi-Fi, as well as a highlight in the form of 2G and 3G modules for voice communication. The presence of two SIM card slots allows you to simultaneously use both 2G mobile communication and the nimble 3G Internet. People in the reviews note good signal reception and high-quality communication in mobile networks, and the Wi-Fi receiver, on the contrary, is weak in this model.

If you surf (via mobile networks) and, for example, listen to music, then the tablet will work for about five hours. If you turn off Wi-Fi and GPS and lower the brightness of the screen, you can achieve 8 hours of continuous operation.

Two SIM cards, a matte unmarked case, a smart camera and photo editor, a good speaker location, an Asus ZenUI shell for Android, a Miracast interface, good battery life.

Branded and scratchy glass, fragile plastic case, low camera resolution, internet works only in one SIM slot.

Asus Fonepad 7 3G 8 GB

An affordable tablet with advanced features is good "both outside and inside", which can be said about the entire Fonepad series from Asus. It fits well in the hand, there are no fingerprints on the embossed matte coating. You can choose from several bright colours (red, blue), as well as traditional white and black. Unlike other models, where the speaker is located at the back, here it is placed on the front panel, which makes it impossible to accidentally block the sound with your hand or a case.

The model is notable, first of all, for the good quality of communication (as the reviews say). 3G, telephony, dual SIM card support turn the tablet into a universal device for calls and web surfing, as was the case with the previous model. A small disadvantage is that the Internet works only in one of the slots. But there is nothing to worry about if you plan to use the second card only for calls. Among the communications here are Wi-Fi, Miracast (standard for wireless video transmission), Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. When working in 2G and 3G networks as a phone in standby mode, Asus can withstand up to 30 hours without recharging. HD videos and games drain the 3950 mAh battery much faster (about 8-10 hours). This is one of the best indicators among tablets of this class.

The TFT matrix is generally not bad and has wide viewing angles. However, you should be careful with the screen – fragile glass can be damaged even from falling from a small height. This tablet is not for children. A special place among the chips of the device is occupied by the "smart camera". It shoots video in HD format, despite a 2-megapixel matrix, and is also equipped with autofocus and digital stabilization. In addition, you can set a timer for selfies, experiment with depth of field, remove excess from the frame.

Textural non-marking coating "under the skin", powerful components, Wi-Fi Direct, the latest version of Android and branded applications, multi-window system of work.

Mediocre quality camera without flash, quiet sound.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 8 GB

The stylish Korean Galaxy Tab 4 with support for 2G, 3G, GSM and LTE networks will complete our review. It works only with a Micro-SIM card. The quality of his communication is not worse than the telephone. There is also Wi-Fi with support for Wi-Fi Direct, GPS and Bluetooth of the latest version. The infrared port, which is present only in this model from the entire TOP 5, will allow the tablet to work as a remote control from the TV. At first glance, it seems strange that there is no proximity sensor here. However, the screen is blocked automatically during calls.

Right out of the box you will get Hancom Viewer applications for Word, Excel and Power Point documents and access to Samsung Link cloud storage. In addition, the rich assortment from the Play Market is complemented by the Samsung app store.

If one of your friends has the same tablet, you can make one big screen out of them or share content using the Group Play function. Multi-window work has also become a feature of the model. Unlike other tablets, here you can open two applications on the same screen to work with them simultaneously. Moreover, 1.5 GB of RAM — which is more than all the models presented here — even in this case, they allow you not to slow down programs. The "intelligence" of the tablet is not limited to this. S-Voice is an assistant that will answer your questions (similar to Apple's Siri).

In the media viewing and web surfing mode, the tablet, according to Samsung, should last 10 hours of work. However, in one test it turned out that in fact it is possible to reduce this indicator by half. And the columnist www.vido.com.ua I estimated the potential of a 4000 mAh battery for 2-3 days with an average intensity of use of the gadget.

The reviews note the quiet sound of the speaker for music and movies, which can be solved using applications like Volume booster, as well as a mediocre 3 MP rear camera, as for an advanced device. The 1.3-megapixel front—facing camera did not cause any complaints — what is needed for video conferencing.
