Vitek VT-2204

Vitek VT-2204 will be the best choice if you are looking for a simple and inexpensive device for hardware manicure at home.

The package includes 10 attachments, which also include a felt disk for polishing nails and a cleaning brush. All metal nozzles are covered with a high-strength sapphire coating, which adds greater wear resistance and durability to the device.

Vitek VT-2204 can work both from rechargeable batteries and from a network adapter. Battery life is about 40-60 minutes, which is usually enough for 1 session of work. The batteries are charged for a standard long time – about 6 hours, however, if there is an urgent need, you can always use the services of a network adapter. The length of the device cord is 190 cm.

The device has 2 speeds: the first is designed for the treatment of sensitive areas, the second for roughened skin and nails. It should be noted that all the nozzles rotate only in one direction, therefore, doing a manicure with your left hand (or vice versa, if you are left-handed) will have to get a little better.

Based on user reviews, this device handles with manicure perfectly, the main thing is to learn how to use it. However, with a pedicure Vitek VT-pcs are much worse. Buyers note that the nozzles for grinding roughened skin and calluses practically do not perform their stated functions: the skin is polished slightly, and with strong pressure they stop rotating altogether. Perhaps the point here is not in the nozzles, the device may simply not have enough power. Nevertheless, the conclusions here can be drawn as follows: there is plenty of power for a high–quality manicure, but unfortunately not enough for a pedicure.

The device is equipped with a compact and convenient storage case.

Natural stone nozzles are suitable for processing artificial nails; the power adapter can be stored in the device case; drying for varnish; rubberized legs.

Not suitable for pedicure.

Scarlett SC-953

The capabilities of this manicure set largely repeat the functionality of the previous participant in our review, with the only difference that ScarlettSC-953 is additionally equipped with a built-in nail polish dryer with backlight.

The complete set of the device consists of 10 nozzles, among which special attention should be paid to the large and small cone nozzles made of natural stone – they are suitable for professional processing of not only natural, but also artificial nails.

ScarlettSC-953 is powered by mains or battery. In addition, there is a hole in the case of the device for storing the adapter, which adds convenience when transporting it. However, as users warn, the lid of this hole opens with great difficulty, therefore, in order not to spoil the manicure, it is better to open it with scissors or other "auxiliary" means. To extend the service life of the batteries, the manufacturer should completely discharge them before each regular charging, including the device at idle.

The device has 2 operating speeds, but based on customer feedback, the difference between them is very insignificant. Many buyers consider the built-in nail polish dryer with backlight to be a pleasant addition, but mostly useless, they say, its fan does not have enough power and the nails dry for too long.

As for the quality of manicure and pedicure, the same story is repeated here, as with the Vitek VT-2204 kit – he handles worse with grinding rough skin on his feet than with nail treatment and cuticles on his hands.

For additional stability, the device is equipped with rubberized legs.

Built-in hot tub; 2 directions of rotation of nozzles; hair dryer; ergonomic case.

VES VEM-105

: A more advanced model of a desktop manicure set, the functionality of which has been expanded at the expense of a built-in massage bath with a bubble generator. Such a "bonus" will allow you to perform comprehensive professional nail care at home, including the final stage of a classic manicure – the adoption of a SPA procedure.

The undoubted advantages of the model include ergonomics and functionality of the device body itself, thought out to the smallest detail: there is a bath on top, a device with nozzles in the middle under the lid, and a hair dryer on the bottom. In addition, among the low-cost models presented in our review, VES VEM-105 has the largest number of nozzles – 12 pcs. Although some buyers assure that there could be fewer attachments, since during the standard manicure procedure, "essentially" a maximum of half of the presented accessories are used.

Among the features of the model, it is worth highlighting the smooth adjustment of speeds (there are 2 of them as standard here), as well as the ability to rotate the nozzles in two directions, which allows you to adjust faster when performing a manicure with your left hand.

As standard, the device has the ability to work from the mains or from the built-in battery, which is monitored by a special charge level indicator. On average, the battery lasts for 4 hours.

We have not yet found any special complaints from users about the work of the nozzles during manicure or pedicure. Many buyers note that in terms of reliability and service life, this manicure set surpasses many analogues.

The Council. Before using such a set for the first time, it is strongly recommended not only to study the instructions, but also to pre-watch training videos on how to properly do a hardware manicure or pedicure. You should try all the nozzles of the set a couple of times and only then choose the optimal chronology of actions for yourself. Don't get upset if something doesn't work out right away: as practice shows, the skill comes through 4-6 procedures.

Suitable for use by patients with diabetes mellitus; fine-grained sapphire coating of nozzles; smooth speed control; reverse; LED backlight.

Medisana Medistyle S

One of the few in our review is a manicure and pedicure set with a medical "bias": the manufacturer positions the device as suitable for use by patients with diabetes . It is known that the so-called diabetic skin, which is prone to excessive formation of growths, calluses and cracks, should be handled very carefully and carefully during such procedures, using nozzles with gentle fine-grained spraying.

Medisana 85120 is equipped with four nozzles with a high-strength abrasive coating that gently cleanses the skin from surface dead particles without injuring it. A short cone is designed for grinding dry keratinized skin, a disk – for shortening nails, a round cutter – for grinding off an ingrown nail plate, a felt disk – for polishing and grinding it. There is a function of smooth speed adjustment (from 1600 to 5000 revolutions per minute) and control of the direction of their rotation – to the right or to the left using reverse.

The advantages of the model include the presence of a built-in LED backlight – the key to accuracy and accuracy when performing manicure and pedicure work. The disadvantages are the lack of the possibility of using rechargeable batteries as such, since the device only works from a network adapter.

The device comes with a washable storage bag, as well as instructions in 6 languages.

Beurer MP 100 Price from 6 429 up to 9 779 ₴ →

Beurer MPE 100 is the result of cooperation between the German company–leader in the production of health equipment Beurer and the international women's magazine ELLE. This manicure and pedicure set belongs to the luxury class ("premium") and it can safely compete with professional salon equipment.

Externally, the device somewhat resembles a dental drill: the handle of the milling cutter is made of metal and is quite heavy. The kit itself, as expected, is placed in a convenient plastic case-a box with a lid, in which all the nozzles and a network adapter are compactly stored (the device works only from the network).

The set includes 9 sapphire nozzles, 2 metal ones working with removable nozzles coated with sandpaper, as well as one felt. In addition, the basic equipment of the device includes 30 disposable sandpaper nozzles for the treatment of corns. Although the manufacturer calls them disposable, users assure that you can ignore such prescriptions and use one nozzle about 10 times without a twinge of conscience – it will stoically withstand such tests.

The rotation speed of the nozzles of the device ranges from 5000 to 22000 rpm, which means that this model can be recommended both for diabetics and for those who are used to processing artificial nails. In addition, the Beurer MPE 100 is equipped with a rotation speed controller, the possibility of turning the nozzles right-left.

All parts of the kit that are subject to rapid wear can be purchased at the appropriate service centers.

One of the features of the model is the presence of a special protective cap for collecting nail dust. The only significant drawback of this model can only be called its high cost.
