EROVER BS01A

The EROVER BS01A gyroboard is perfect for commuting and just riding in the park. It weighs only 10 kg, so even a girl can carry it for short distances, and its small dimensions make it convenient to transport the device in the boot of a car. This is the smallest and most inexpensive gyroboard in its segment.

The two-wheeler is equipped with 6.5-inch wheels with tubeless rubber tyres, inside of which there is a vacuum. If the wheel suddenly punctures, the tyre will not lose pressure and the gyro scooter will be able to continue moving. The device is capable of reaching a maximum speed of 10 km/h, which is quite a bit. When the maximum speed threshold is reached, the gyroboard starts beeping. However, despite its low speed, the gyroboard is quite passable – it freely passes along the road with a 5-centimeter layer of wet snow on the surface.

The maximum load capacity of the gyroboard, at which it will be able to ride, is 100 kg. As much as possible on a full charge on a flat road, the gyroboard travels up to 30 km – only monowheels, which are many times more expensive, can drive more than it. However, we do not recommend leaving a blocked gyroboard on the street, as it weighs 12.5 kg and can be picked up by any passerby.

The speed of the gyro scooter is 15 km/h, which is the average for devices in this segment. Thanks to the 10-inch wheels, the SmartWay UERA-ESU002 is able to easily overcome speed bumps and small slides, the elevation angle of which is less than 15 degrees. However, the wheels are not tubeless, so when they are punctured, they need to be sealed immediately. IP-54 dust and water protection allows the gyro scooter to drive through puddles without fear of damage to the inner filling. A gyroboard can easily "roll" people weighing up to 120 kg.

Ninebot Mini

The most popular gyro scooter today is made by Xiaomi in cooperation with Ninebot. The device has 10.5-inch wheels with a ground clearance of 8 centimeters, which allows it to overcome bumps, pits, ride freely on a primer and not get stuck in 10-centimeter snow. The maximum segway can reach a speed of 16 km/h, but when climbing the hill, the speed will decrease. By the way, the segway stops at the slides no steeper than 15 degrees. At the same time, the load capacity of the segway is only 85 kg, so larger people should pay attention to other models of gyroscuters.

Ninebot Mini is equipped with front and rear dimensions. The front LED headlights light up when the level of illumination on the street decreases, and are able to illuminate the road 2 metres ahead. The rear dimensions act as stops when braking (light up red) and increase the aesthetics of the gyro scooter in the dark. In the smartphone application that connects to the segway, you can change the colour scheme of the rear dimensions. In addition, using the application, you can remotely control the segway, lock the wheels to avoid theft, as well as check the battery charge and see the current speed on the speedometer. For beginners in the smartphone, you can choose a special mode in which the maximum speed will be limited to a safe (up to 10 km/h). Also, you can personally set the sensitivity threshold of the rotary rod for yourself.

The gyro scooter is controlled by a rotary rack and a self-balancing system. It is worth noting that the turntable is quite low, so people with a height above 180 cm will have to turn not with their knees, but with their ankles, which is not always convenient. The body of the segway is made of a durable elastic magnesium alloy, which easily absorbs shock when hitting a rock or falling into a pit. Protection against dust and moisture is made according to the IP-54 standard – it allows the gyro scooter to ride through puddles and in the rain.
