I received this lantern as a gift from my son. I use it in the evening when returning from work (private sector, light is not available everywhere), sometimes at home (light it in a dark corner) and take it with me on night fishing. Lightweight, weight up to 100 grams. Small sizes. You can put it in your pocket; in a bag its weight is completely lost. Gives off a VERY BRIGHT LIGHT. I foolishly looked into the lens at maximum brightness. The bunnies then jumped in my eyes for about thirty minutes. The angle of the light cone is well adjusted. You can make a narrow bright beam that hits 100-150 meters or an expanding cone that will illuminate the surrounding space. A very convenient advantage. The brightness is also adjustable. There are three positions: maximum, normal and strobe. With the first two everything is clear; most often I use the norm, since the maximum is too bright and can dazzle even with reflected light. A strobe light once came in handy to scare away stray dogs. I remembered about him in time. They were not afraid, but stopped and fell behind immediately. The kit did not include a white plastic sleeve, which prevents the battery from dangling in the battery compartment. Unpleasant, but not critical. I made the sleeve myself from foamed polypropylene. The declared resistance to water is hardly possible. There are almost no rubber seals. It can and will withstand rain, but it cannot be immersed in water. The lens is plastic and is easily scratched, I put it once in my pocket with the keys and was convinced from my own experience ((And, finally, the standard battery that was included does not stand up to criticism. In the very first days I took the flashlight for night fishing and, charged for everything 100% battery, died in just an hour of operation in normal mode. I replaced it with a Panasonic (oh, those 18650 are so expensive!) and now it lasts for a very long time. It’s simply impossible to discharge it in one night of fishing. |
