I purchased the Bosch GMF 1600 CE router for professional woodworking. The advantages of this tool include the fact that it comes with two bases that are easy to switch. One can be mounted stationary, and the other used as a handheld router. The tool is quite convenient and well-designed in use. It is versatile and powerful enough to fit larger diameter bits. It is reasonably heavy. There is an LED light and a transparent base that allows for better visibility of the work area. The tool is durable and can operate for hours. It also features micro-depth adjustment, which is convenient compared to others where you have to "catch" millimeters because the base "jumps." Under ideal conditions, it is a very good versatile professional tool. The big "downside" of this router is the sensitive and unadapted electronics to our low voltage and current fluctuations. It's practically impossible to work during the day without a transformer. It works great at night after 11:00 PM when the current in the network is good. I do not recommend buying this router if you have poor current in the network and need to perform large volumes of work, especially under load using larger diameter cutters or if you need to transport it to sites because bringing a voltage stabilizer with you is quite inconvenient. In this case, it's better to get something simpler and more resilient to voltage. You might consider purchasing the Makita M3600 or Makita 3612. use Bosch GMF 1600 CE Professional 0601624022 month or more i recommend it don't buy |
