The EcoSilence Drive inverter motor is responsible for the reliability and durability of the Bosch SMV 4HVX32E. A heat exchanger is used to improve drying after washing. In addition, the machine can be connected to a hot water system to make it even more economical (by default, one cycle consumes 9.5 liters of water and 0.94 kWh of electricity), with a maximum hot water temperature of 60 °C.
Running programs and additional options
Users are provided with six programs, among which automatic is considered the most popular. The water purity sensor itself regulates the cycle duration and resource consumption. In addition, there are gentle, intensive and economical programs, as well as pre-rinse and self-cleaning. If the standard modes do not suit you, you can create your own program and assign it to the "Favorite" button on the control panel.
The delay start timer and intensive drying are complemented by special functions such as HigienaPlus and SpeedPerfect Plus. The first is designed to remove bacteria and allergens, which is especially important for children's dishes, and the second allows you to speed up the washing process, compensating for the lack of a fast cycle.
Simple controls
The control panel is located at the end of the door and includes buttons and a small display. When the cycle is complete, the machine is notified not only by an audible signal, but also by a red light from the InfoLight projected onto the floor. Another advantage of this model is support for remote control through the Home Connect application, with which you can interact with the machine, including by voice.
The downside to this model is the noise level, which can reach 46 dB, which is higher than some competitors. If this isn't a concern for you, the Bosch SMV 4HVX32E is a balanced option from a reliable manufacturer.
Maybe I'm wrong, but it washes dishes a little better than its predecessor, with the same detergents. It is convenient to control from the phone, select a program, etc., and you can also see how much time is left until the end of the cycle. It is controlled via the Home Connect application together with other Bosch/Siemens household appliances.
A separate tray for cutlery is a must-have, very convenient.
The predecessor was labeled SilentPlus, and this one is simply Silent, and it feels it, the new one is relatively noisy.
