One of the main advantages of convectors is the speed of air heating. Specifically, this convector is very good in this sense. Its power is small, but it is quickly converted into a noticeable increase in air temperature. Apparently the point is not only in the numbers of power, but also in how it is transmitted to the air. This model uses a special air tubular electric heater with an x-shaped profile. Its X-fins are made of cast aluminium, that is, metal with very high thermal conductivity, so the heat of the heater spreads as quickly as possible over the entire area of the fins and then turns into air heat. Liked the digital controls. I did not know that such blocks are built into simple convectors. With its help, the desired temperature, heater power (500 or 1000 W) are easily and simply set, and the off timer is set. One of the wheels on which the heater is mounted constantly wedges. Not that I often drove him around the rooms, but unpleasant. |
