A hybrid inverter with a battery charging function, designed for operation in autonomous and backup power supply systems that include solar panels with a total capacity of up to 15.6 kW and serve a load of up to 12 kW. The Deye SUN-12K-SG04LP3-EU inverter has a function of automatic switching to operation from a battery unit in the event of a power outage. Due to advanced logic, the device optimizes energy consumption, rationally using all available sources: electricity from the grid, solar energy and battery charge.
The inverter can work with different types of batteries (gel, lithium-ion, lead-acid, etc.) and has two MPPT controllers, allowing you to connect several solar panels with different orientations in space. The device body provides a high degree of protection against dust and moisture (IP65 class), and a set of protective systems guarantees the safe operation of the inverter.

I spent a long time choosing what to take. The task was to buy a super reliable device for adjusting the battery usage time, problem-free operation in the mixing mode. I hung almost 6 kW of solar panels on it on one string. I installed an 8.4 kW battery. I can say that there were practically no problems with the setup and operation. Opening the cover for connection, I was shocked by the quality of the parts. and execution. All capacitors are solid-state, the case is sealed, dust does not get in at all, absolutely silent, although I don’t care, because I have it in the basement. I don’t know. This is a work of art. You can adjust the battery charging time from the network, and charge it only at night for the night tariff. You can set the charging power for each parameter. Very convenient mobile application. But with one minus, the information is updated every 5 minutes. I have not used the port for the generator yet, but I plan to. Switching between the network is seamless, the computer does not turn off, mixes from the sun / network / battery perfectly. Of the nuances - a little picky about the external network. Even having set the most gentle noise level, it can still cut off the network if the phase imbalance is more than 15-20. The same applies to the frequency. Overall, I am very pleased. It is definitely worth the money. Quality product, from the screw to the paint on the case, or the screen. Very flexible settings. There is a fully manual mode of operation with the battery. The Chinese update the firmware on request, and answer any questions, help with problem solving. Ideal work with the sun.
