I bought the version (1 transmitter + 1 receiver) as the cheapest option. I have a smartphone on Android. I downloaded the DJI Mimo app, granted it all permissions, connected the transmitter and receiver to the smartphone via Bluetooth, launched the DJI Mimo app, and identified the transmitter and receiver in the app. The indicators on the transmitter and receiver lit up green - meaning they were paired and ready for recording. But when I started recording video on the smartphone and thought that the sound was being recorded from the DJI microphone, it turned out that the sound in the video was recorded from... the smartphone microphone! I thought that when the DJI receiver is connected to the smartphone, the sound in the video should AUTOMATICALLY be recorded from it! But the cunning Chinese don't mention that to record sound from this microphone in the video, the smartphone must have the ability to select an external audio device (like this DJI Mic Mini) as the sound source. Otherwise, what's the point of this microphone if it can't simply record sound in video on all Android smartphones? So I recommend that owners of regular Android smartphones think carefully before purchasing to avoid throwing money to the wind.
