It differs from the regular version by the presence of a thermal imager and a modified combination of cameras.
A smartphone-alien with the outlines of an abstract xenomorph figure in the design of the back panel of the case. The “eyes” of an extraterrestrial civilization are two exclusive cameras: a 20 MP module with IR illumination for shooting in complete darkness and an InfiRay thermal imager. The image from the built-in thermal imager is superimposed on top of the image from the leading 48 MP sensor.
As usual, Doogee S98 Pro is protected from dust, moisture, hot water under pressure and mechanical damage during falls. The smartphone is IP68, IP69K and MIL-STD-810H certified. The screen of the device is represented by an IPS-panel with a diagonal size of 6.3 inches and a resolution of 2340x1080 pixels. The “iron” heart of the model is an eight-core chipset of a strong MediaTek Helio G96 mid-level, supported by solid memory capacities (8/256 GB).
Moreover, the smartphone has a separate tray for a microSD card to expand the capacity of internal storage. "Alien" supports fast wired charging of a 6000 mAh battery (at a power of 33 W) and the procedure for wireless replenishment of energy reserves in the battery cells (15 W). The designers also armed the smartphone with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and an NFC module for contactless payments.

The Doogee S98 Pro smartphone is designed taking into account all the features and difficulties of use in the military, construction, tourism and entertainment sectors. Its case is made on the basis of an aluminum frame and is fully protected from moisture, sand, critical temperatures, dirt and falls (meets IP68 / IP69K and MIL-STD-810H standards). The screen, covered with Gorilla Glass, is resistant to accidental impacts. The side customizable key can perform 3 different actions that can be useful in emergency situations: flashlight, SOS, calling a specific contact, compass and others.
Weapon of Victory
The triple camera will make performing specialized tasks much easier. The 48 MP main module can interact with a thermal imaging camera to accurately convey the structure and boundaries of objects. The manufacturer uses a professional thermal sensor InfiRay, operating in the temperature range from -15 to +550 degrees Celsius with minimal error. An additional lens with two IR sensors is capable of recording clear video in complete darkness. The Doogee S98 Pro smartphone allows you to detect people and animals in rooms, find places of heat loss and potentially dangerous heating in electrical connections, determine the temperature of electronic parts and much more. Shooting in 4K quality is also supported.

The device's battery capacity is not the largest (6000 mAh), given the specifics of use, but the manufacturer offers 33 W fast charging, which will fully replenish energy in less than 2 hours. This can also be done wirelessly without the hassle of wires using compatible wireless power banks in remote locations. Thus, you can get about 28 hours of battery life in talk mode, as well as up to 18 days in standby mode. Doogee S98 Pro supports all existing navigation systems, as well as an accelerated search mechanism for aGPS satellites.
