just what you need for the household.

I bought the hammer drill for home repairs. I'll say right away—it performs its functions 100%. With good drill bits, it cuts through concrete like butter. Now for the nuances—the drill is heavy, making it problematic to work overhead for a long time. The center of gravity is such that when picking it up from the table by the handle, the middle finger almost always inadvertently presses the trigger, so caution is necessary. For some reason, the ring finger often got pinched between the bottom of the trigger and the casing when pressed. This doesn't happen while wearing a glove. The safety clutch activated three times when the bit hit rebar. It's very good that there's protection. Before using it, I unscrewed the top cover—the grease was packed to the brim. The nice grease for the drill bit turns into a black goo after about 5 minutes of work, which is hard to wash off your fingers. I probably need to look for a higher-temperature grease.

Many users online complained about the mode switch. I faced this too—I couldn't switch to hammer mode at all. I had to go back to "drilling," turn the drill a bit, and then the switch moved to hammer mode quite easily. After a few days of work, the problem with the switch almost disappeared. Almost always, I have to work with the speed control set to positions 5-6. Even if you start drilling at 4, due to the placement of the speed control under the thumb, it quickly ends up on 6. Positions 1-2-3 are almost useless.
