The Forte EMK-1600 trimmer is equipped with a 1.6 kW motor that rotates the shaft at a very solid number of revolutions — 10,000 per minute. DO NOT BUY THE MODEL UNTIL THEY FIX THE TOGGLE SWITCH AND CHECK THE WIRE GAUGE ON THE SWITCH. IT ALSO HEATS UP. So far only disappointments Worked for exactly 5 minutes and the trigger switch burned out. After replacing the switch, the second one also burned out after 5 minutes. A structural change to a different type of switch is necessary. The wire also seems to need a different gauge for 1600 W power. A lot of vibration is felt during operation.
