Now on the market there are many fairly simple models of water heaters that differ from each other mainly in advertising booklets and prices. And as a simple buyer, it was difficult for me to make this choice. Then I just sorted out by brand, because the Ariston washing machine has been washing my family for the second decade. The choice fell on the PERLA 80 model because it is the simplest cylindrical storage water heater, but it was made in Italy. Affordable price. The absence of any bells and whistles, which are most often not in demand by the buyer, made this water heater competitive even with domestic electric water heaters. Nice classic design. Storage tank made of 2 mm sheet steel with a proprietary protective enamel coating. Enamel used is special, resistant to temperature extremes and the formation of cracks and chips. Tubular electric heaters are also the most common, but with a durable copper sheath. The thermal power of the heaters is 1500 W. Considering that the volume of the tank is 80 liters, then 1.5 kW is not much and you should not expect jet heating. But the scale in the tank is less. In addition to the heaters, the tank has a large magnesium anode. Due to its increased size, the prevention of this water heater can be done not once a year, but twice as often. It can heat water up to 75 degrees, which I do without fail at least once a month. This keeps the water from stagnating and prevents the characteristic musty odor. The manufacturer also announced a high-precision temperature control system, but why it is needed in a domestic boiler and what profit I get from it, I personally do not understand. Slow water heating. This is clearly not the boiler that is worth waiting for, because it takes almost three hours to wait. For me, it constantly works in standby mode and completely hot water almost never drains. |
It took an inexpensive, but high-quality storage water heater for a country house. I was not going to buy some cheap domestic misunderstanding, so I immediately began to look for a suitable model among well-known brands. The Italians Hotpoint-Ariston PERLA liked the most in terms of price / quality ratio. It was this fifty-liter model that I bought. Heats water up to 75 degrees. For a country water heater, this is necessary to destroy bacteria that can multiply in water during long periods of inactivity of the tank turned off. It turns out a kind of pasteurization of water, after which the water does not fill up. A tank from sheet steel of the increased thickness. This, of course, increases the weight of the entire structure, but the weight is not noticeable on the wall, and the likelihood that such a thick metal will leak is minimal. Doesn't heat up for long. It takes a little over a hundred minutes to heat a full tank. Not sensitive to voltage drops and water pressure in electrical and water mains. That is, it is well adapted for harsh domestic conditions. Two year official warranty. The price, as for Hotpoint-Ariston products, is quite variable. The heating temperature control device is hidden under the cover. Why it was impossible to take out the thermostat knob directly to the front side, it is not clear. It makes noise, or rather buzzes at water temperatures close to the maximum. Very inaccurate thermometer on the case. It's better not to look at him at all. |
