Which is better: wet or dry heating element in a water heater?Learning the design features, pros and cons of "wet" and "dry" heating elements in water heaters

Detailed FAQ on storage water heatersWe answer the most common questions regarding the installation and operation of storage water heaters
I worked as a dentist in a district clinic for about 15 years and have already gained a decent number of my own patients, but the head physician has changed and I could not find a common language with the new head. It is clear that from the reception I had a more or less stable income, but the percentage that I gave to the former head physician did not suit the new one. I think it's even better. I finally got that push that got me into my own business. I bought this boiler in order to organize hot water supply. It is small, only 15 liters, but I don’t need more for washing my hands and other household needs. Small in size, can be said to be a portable electric storage water heater. I had an idea to buy a flow model, but then I read more about them and realized that with a storage tank it would be much easier and calmer. And this is true, it does not require any special care and supervision, it works for itself, well, that's good. The water can heat up to 80 degrees, but since I don’t need a larger volume, I set the thermostat to about 55-60 degrees, that is, so that such water does not burn my hands. In addition, at a lower temperature, the losses are less and the scale, in theory, is also less formed. One heater with a power of 1200 W heats 15 liters of water to 60 degrees in about 20-25 minutes. And from my arrival at work to the first patient, it takes about half an hour, so this time is enough. Works quietly, almost silently. Well protected against corrosion. The thermostat is a little weird. Setting the maximum or minimum temperature is easier than a steamed turnip, but finding an intermediate position is much more difficult. I twisted it back and forth for a long time until I caught the 60 degrees I needed. |
