I've been using this heater for 11 months. Out of those, I can barely say it "worked" for about three months in total. The heater is not worthy of any positive adjectives since it never operated reliably in delivering hot water from the very beginning. After 3-4 months, it completely stopped turning on. The service center, which arrived for a fee (not for free as per warranty obligations), dismantled the flow sensor and said it was malfunctioning, deeming it a non-warranty repair due to a small deposit on the walls. According to them, it was dirt that caused the sensor's failure, despite being supplied by the central water system and having a fine filter installed three meters before the heater. The sensor was replaced at my expense, and they recommended installing a booster (pressure) pump since the heater was still unstable after the sensor replacement. This sensor lasted from March to June before breaking again. And again, it was the flow sensor. This time, it was the reed switch (magnet). Again, it was considered non-warranty. Replaced it at my expense, but that didn’t help. Two weeks later, it failed again. And as you understand, another non-warranty repair, and so on. The costs for "maintaining" this heater's operation have already exceeded half its purchase price, even though a year hasn't passed since installation. The technicians themselves do not provide any guarantees. Spoke with specialists from other service centers not officially associated with Ariston; they unanimously talk about a very poor choice, with 3 out of 5 new ones not starting up. I will write when I work out the money spent on it From the first day, it has not been working in the mode, i.e. turns off spontaneously. For 11 months, the flow sensor was changed three times. Ariston changes them only for money. There is no service or warranty. Everything is just for money. Half the cost of the service has already been spent and the breakdowns do not end. The hotline only reassures and says that nothing can help, the service is stupidly frozen. |

Now I’m thinking; to buy a new gas water heater like Vaillant, or to continue struggling with this one and constantly spend 2000 rubles every 2-3 months on repairs. No benefits yet. This is the case when this is one big drawback. Non-working design, disgusting quality, non-compliance with Russian operating conditions (as the Ariston service insists on). And also the complete lack of warranty service. All repairs are solely at the expense of the consumer. It is impossible to influence ariston. the hotline exists only for you to waste your time and get tired of it. They will not connect with anyone and will not help in any way. They blame you for everything. The masters themselves do not give guarantees for anything. Design
As befits an Italian company, everything is fine with the design of the water heater. He is quirky and cute. But the model does not differ in compactness, although you can’t call it bulky either (HSW 58x31x21 cm). The side walls of the white metal casing are devoid of perforation, and the facade is decorated with a black plastic control unit with one regulator and an LED temperature indicator. There is no display.
Functional
There is also no conventional flame power regulator; instead, the apparatus implements electronic power modulation. On the one hand, it should be convenient, regardless of the force of water pressure, its temperature should remain at the set mark, but, unfortunately, in some cases, the automation does not work correctly, and a miracle does not happen. What causes such instability, it is difficult to say. Perhaps the point is weakly sensitive sensors, or incorrect factory settings, or perhaps unstable water pressure in the water pipes. But the problem is not systemic, and there are much more users satisfied with the innovation than dissatisfied ones.
The maximum water temperature that the unit can provide is 65 ºС, which allows it to be used simultaneously for two operating points. FAST EVO heats slowly but surely.
Auto-ignition is triggered by a water pressure of 2 L / min and is carried out from 2 batteries of the LR20 type, which you need to buy good quality so that the spark occurs the first time, and the batteries themselves last for a long period of time. High-quality alkaline batteries will last for 7-8 months, and those that come with the kit for 2-3.
Protection
A multi-level security system is designed to protect against overheating, carbon monoxide ingress into the room (traction control), and turn off the gas supply when the burner flame goes out (gas control). Everything will work smoothly and without problems, if the connection and installation of the water heater is entrusted to a specialist.
FAST EVO B is a quality product with good performance, but slightly overpriced due to innovations, which, however, did not particularly affect the popularity of the water heater.
