Last spring I received a plot of land and began building a new house, but electricity was only supplied to the plot now. So, for almost the entire construction season, this generator worked, as they say, by the sweat of its brow. I bought it not only for construction, but also as a reserve for my auto repair shop, and at the construction site I shared it with my neighbor. He also decided to start construction work early and I helped him out... inexpensively))) A fairly powerful five-kilowatt generator that performed well. Fully supplied energy to two construction sites. It powered lighting, power tools, and concrete mixers. Coped with the load well. The only thing that had to be coordinated was the simultaneous operation of two concrete mixers. Still, each of them has 1000+ W motors and their joint operation with power tools was problematic. In such a situation, he pulled one without problems, but the launch of the second was no longer successful, the protection was triggered. Fuel consumption is moderate, about 2 - 2.3 liters per hour when operating under variable load. The tank was large, 25 liters, enough even for the longest working day when the foundation was being poured. Gasoline used was 92, but as I found out later, cunning builders sometimes poured a mixture of 92 and 80 into it in order to save money. Digested it normally, worked no worse than on pure 92nd. There was no battery included and, accordingly, at first the generator was started manually using a starter cord. And this is not very convenient, since due to the design features it has to be pulled not perpendicular to the plane of the coil, but at an angle. A week later, I finally purchased a normal lead battery and then the electric starter dealt with starting difficulties. The generator itself is quite heavy and cannot be handled alone. |
