A smart projector running a proprietary webOS 4.5 operating system, which is in no way inferior in functionality to a similar “OS” on board LG smart TVs. When connected to the World Wide Web, the model provides comfortable access to network media libraries, streaming services and easily overcomes video playback from local sources. Video sources are connected to the projector via two HDMI 2.0 ports.
Also in the interesny shelf of the model there are two USB connectors, a 3.5 mm output (mini-Jack) and an optical connector for an external audio system. LG's own HU70LS speakers are 2 x 3W format. The device projects a picture on screens with a caliber of more than 150 inches diagonally, providing 4K image quality. The focusing mechanism of the projector is motorized, and the keystone distortion of the picture is also automatically corrected. The LED-phosphor light source of the model produces a peak brightness of about 1500 lm and boasts an increased operational resource. The device comes with a Magic Remote pointer function.

- Good overall picture, 4K HDR. The screen brightness is not the most exceptional. In accurate mode, about 1000 lumens, with a 1:500 contrast ratio. Suitable for a living room with white walls. - There is dynamic tone mapping. An indispensable feature for HDR. Others have it only on JVC and Sony projectors. - Motorized focus. Can be adjusted with the remote. - Acceptable lag in games. About 50 ms. - Lenses are plastic, not glass. Very fragile. - LG does not have parts for repairing the projector at the local warehouse in Russia. In case of a breakdown, your projector will not be repaired. - Delivery of parts from the factory for repair takes AT LEAST two months. - HORRIBLE! LG's warranty support regarding projectors and customer relations in particular. Specifically with the manufacturer at the official LG service center. There is a high probability that your requests will be ignored. They won't go beyond the call center. - I had a bug with connecting to my PC in PC connection mode. Sometimes the projector would freeze and crash the image. Support said it was something with my laptop and basically told me to get lost. No such issues with Nvidia Shield and PS5. - No updates for the projector. WebOS will most likely remain on version 4.5. Moreover, if you call or write to LG, the call center will follow the instructions and write a complaint. "You will be called back." And they never called back. It's like the requests disappear into a black hole. No information at all.
And you could say it's my fault, that it's mechanical damage (because of which I can't even sue for the long delivery time of the part apparently) and so on. However, if other potential buyers experience defects, and judging by reviews on amazon and lgshop.us, defects do occur, you will be waiting for repairs for a VERY VERY VERY long time. I'm still waiting.
